BACON, BASIL PESTO, AND TOMATO SANDWICH
If you're tired of a BLT, try a BBPT. The basil pesto is a wonderful complement to the bacon and tomato on this sandwich. During summer, when you have more basil than you know what to do with, make your own pesto. You can freeze pesto in ice cube trays for a real treat in the winter. And go ahead and pick one of those fresh tomatoes in your garden to slice down for this sandwich.

GRILLED BACON-TOMATO SANDWICHES
My family loves these sandwiches and they are very easy to prepare. Fresh basil, tangy Italian dressing and melted cheese meld perfectly together in this simple sandwich. -Betty Snoddy, Franklin, Missouri

BACON, HORSERADISH, AND TOMATO SANDWICHES
I love these sandwiches for a great change. I often make as a regular sandwich just for me. Works great with many types of bread, too. Adapted from 'The Holidays' by John Hadamuscin. Enjoy!!!

BACON HORSERADISH SPREAD/DIP
I like to eat this on a roast beef sandwich! I also like to dip chips and crackers into this as well as french fries. I would double it (at least) for a party and serve with crackers. Use light sour cream OR light mayo, not both or the texture will be different. But if you don't mind that then by all means go right ahead! :) Cook time is chill time.

BACON-WRAPPED FILET MIGNON WITH HORSERADISH SAUCE
This is Cook's Illustrated method of cooking a filet mignon. If you're cooking for someone who insists on well-done steaks, use a thinner cut of meat. I recently cut small steaks from a petite fillet and cooked in this manner and they were fantastic . . . so cute too!
