Steps:
- Season tomatoes with the salt and place seed-side down on a rack or paper towel to drain for about 30 minutes. Blot dry with a paper towel.
- Position an oven rack in the upper part of the oven and preheat the broiler. Line a broiler pan with foil. Place the tomato halves on the prepared pan, seed-side up, season with pepper to taste, drizzle with olive oil, and sprinkle herbs over the top. Broil until hot and the tops begin to brown, about 8 minutes.
- Top with cheese and broil until cheese is melted, about 1 minute. Serve 3 halves per person.

- Preheat oven to broil.
- In a shallow bowl, whisk together the olive oil and vinegar. Marinate the tomatoes in the mixture, stirring occasionally.
- Meanwhile, in a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, parsley, oregano, black pepper and 4 teaspoons Parmesan cheese. Spread mixture on each slice of toasted bread. Place marinated tomatoes on 2 slices and sprinkle with remaining Parmesan cheese.
- Place on a baking sheet and broil for 5 minutes, or until cheese turns golden brown. Serve immediately, open faced or closed.

- Cut away the core of each tomato, then halve the tomatoes crosswise. Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Combine the bread crumbs, shallots, garlic, parsley, thyme and olive oil. Blend well.
- Top each tomato half with equal portions of the bread-crumb mixture, pressing down with your fingers to distribute the topping evenly. Arrange the tomato halves on a baking dish, and place about 8 inches from the source of heat. Close the door and cook for about 5 minutes or until lightly browned. Keep warm.

- Preheat grill or broiler - ready for use at med high heat.
- Blend sour cream, shallot, dill, salt, pepper, wine and horseradish and set aside.
- Split tomatoes in half. In the top of each half, scoop about 3 T of the seeds and pulp out of center. Sprinkle each half with salt.
- Place tomatoes on grill or broiler cut-side down. Wait 5 minutes and turn tomatoes over. Place 1 T butter in cavity of tomato. Wait till butter is melted, about 5 minutes. Remove from grill/broiler.
- Add 2 T Smoked salmon to cavity, put 2-3 tablespoons sour cream sauce over salmon and tomato. Sprinkle with minced parsley and serve.

- Turn on your broiler. A toaster oven with broiling ability is great or a George Foreman Grill.
- Remove the cores of the tomatoes then cut them in half (horizontally).
- Place cut side up: then rub Olive oil over cut side (use fingertip).
- Sprinkle bread crumbs on next.
- Sprinkle Herb seasonings on and salt/pepper.
- Then place 1/4 teaspoon of unsalted butter on each half.
- Broil until tomato is hot completely.
- ^May add cheese or mushrooms when nearly done, but don't get them to close to burners in oven.
