Steps:
- In a large skillet, cook beef and onion until meat is no longer pink; drain. Remove from the heat; stir in the tomato sauce, sour cream, cream cheese, sugar and garlic salt., Place half of the noodles in a greased 13x9-in. baking dish; top with half of the beef mixture. Repeat layers. Cover and bake at 350° for 30-35 minutes or until heated through. Sprinkle with cheese; bake 3-5 minutes longer or until cheese is melted.

- cook noodles to desired doneness as directed on package.
- meanwhile heat oven to 350 degrees and spray 2-quart cassarole dish with nonstick cooking spray.
- in large skillet, combine the ground beef,onion,and bell pepper,cook over mediuim-high heat until beef is done and vegetables are tender.
- drain add the sloppy joe mix,soup,and mushrooms mix well heat until bubbly,gently stir in cooked noodles then pour into cassarole dish,sprinkle with cheese.
- bake 350 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes or until the casserole is thoroughly heated and cheese is melted.

BEEF NOODLE BAKE
This is a great alternative to lasagna. Its fast, easy and yummy, and a perfect weeknight meal. My girls who eat like birds asked for seconds the first time I made it. I knew then it was a keeper. I got this recipe from the taste of home cookbook. I also add other things like onion powder and a little bit of season salt when cooking the beef. Keep in mind this is just the base recipe. You can make it to suit your needs. Lower fat recipe use whole grain pasta, neufatel cheese (instead on regular cream cheese) lite sour cream and so on.Enjoy!
