Steps:

  • Boil 4 quarts of water.
  • Add 1 quart (packed tight) tea stems and leaves.
  • Bring to a boil.
  • Turn off the heat, and steep for 1/2- 1 hour, pressing tea down in water periodically.
  • Remove leaves and stems.
  • Strain through cheesecloth (or tightly-knit dish towel).
  • Add 4-6 cups sugar.
  • Stir until dissolved.
  • Place in freezer boxes, cool completely and freeze.
  • To prepare: Mix 1 concentrate plus 2-3 concentrate boxes full of water and serve!
