APPLE CINNAMON CROCK POT POTPOURRI

After reading many different crock pot potpourri recipes I came up with this one, and my house smells wonderful! :) If you don't have a small crock pot, just use a sauce pan and simmer on your stove. These are fun to throw together because you can use what ever you want to create the scent you want and you can't really mess up. I used the spices sold in the cellophane bag, they are very inexpensive and are usually in the Hispanic section of the grocery store.

APPLE PIE POTPOURRI (NON-FOOD)

When peeling apples for cooking/baking/snacking, don't discard the peels. Instead, multi-purpose them to make this aromatic potpourri that smells like a freshly-baked apple pie. Use it as a real estate selling tactic, to set the mood for a party or simply for your own enjoyment. It's easy to make and all-natural.
