It's always been a tradition for my Aunt to make Shrimp Dip for the Christmas parties. We love it and I hope you do too!

Steps:

  • Whip cream cheese well. Stir in remaining ingredients, until well blended. Chill several hours. Spread on crackers or chips, veggies work too!

1 - 8 ounce(s) cream cheese, softened and whipped
1/2 cup(s) hellmanns mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon(s) lemon juice
3 - 4 - green onions - chopped
1/2 teaspoon(s) worschesterchire sauce
1/2 teaspoon(s) prepared horseradish
1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon(s) celery seed
1/2 teaspoon(s) garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon(s) pepper
3 small (4) ounce cans - tiny shrimp, drained and rinsed

Steps:

  • Melt cream cheese in the top of a double boiler. Stir in shrimp, mayonnaise, sherry, mustard, onion, and seasoned salt until combined.

Steps:

  • In a large saucepan / Dutch oven, bring 6 cups water to a boil. Add shrimp; cook, uncovered, until shrimp turn pink, 3-5 minutes. Drain. Transfer to a large bowl. Add vinegar, lemon juice, 1 tablespoon mayonnaise and garlic salt; toss to coat. Refrigerate, covered, at least 4 hours or overnight., To serve, stir in remaining 1/3 cup mayonnaise, celery, eggs and red pepper. Serve in lettuce leaves. If desired, top with green onions.
