This is dedicated to the Beverage Gang as they have inspired me to use more spirits in my cooking. I like that I have to sample the spirits to make sure they are just right for the cooking. :-)

Steps:
- In large skillet, heat oil and 2 Tbsp butter to melting, add in onions, garlic, celery, cook 4 min.
- Add in 1 c wine and simmer til reduced by 1/2.
- Add in shrimp and tomatoes with green chilis and incorporate, heat through 3-4 minute.
- (if shrimp is uncooked, cook til pink in color).
- In the meantime, have a 4 qt pan heating water with a pinch of salt, once boiling add in pasta, cook 4 minute Then add asparagus and stir. Cook til al dente. about 4 minute.
- Drain pasta and asparagus return to pan. Add in parmesan cheese and stir, pour into Casserole pan or Pasta plate. Then pour shrimp and veggie mix over top and serve.
- Served with a crusty tomatoe basil bread. (will post soon)and a Shiraz wine. YUMMY.
- *** cook time is overlapped as pot of water is cooking as you are making shrimp topping.

Steps:
- Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add pasta and cook, stirring occasionally, for 8 minutes. Add cooked shrimp. Cook until shrimp is heated through and pasta is tender yet firm to the bite, 2 to 3 minutes.
- Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add asparagus and red pepper flakes; cook for 3 minutes, stirring frequently. Add garlic and continue to cook until asparagus is tender yet firm to the bite, another 4 to 5 minutes.
- Drain pasta and shrimp; transfer to a large serving bowl. Add cooked asparagus and Parmesan cheese; stir well to combine. Season with salt and pepper and serve immediately.

- Fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil. Cook fettuccine at a boil until tender yet firm to the bite, about 8 minutes.
- At the same time, heat oil in a wok or large skillet over medium heat. Add bell peppers, green onions, and garlic; cook until almost tender, 5 to 6 minutes. Quickly stir in asparagus and Italian seasoning. Add shrimp and diced tomatoes and chiles; toss until shrimp just start to turn pink, 2 to 3 minutes.
- Add Alfredo sauce and stir to avoid sticking. Cook and stir until sauce is hot and bubbling, and shrimp are bright pink on the outside and the meat is opaque, 3 to 5 minutes.
- Serve sauce over fettuccine and garnish with Parmesan cheese.

- Separate the asparagus tips from the rest of the cut pieces, and set the tips aside. Heat 3/4 cup of olive oil over medium heat. Cook and stir the garlic in the hot oil until it begins to turn brown, about 5 minutes. Stir in the cut pieces of asparagus (not the tips), and season with salt and pepper. Cook and stir the asparagus until tender but still bright green, about 10 minutes, then add the asparagus tips. Cook and stir for 5 more minutes.
- While the asparagus is cooking, fill a large pot with lightly salted water and bring to a rolling boil over high heat. Once the water is boiling, stir in the fettuccine, and return to a boil. Cook the pasta uncovered, stirring occasionally, until the pasta has cooked through, but is still firm to the bite, about 8 minutes. Drain well in a colander set in the sink, return to the pot, and drizzle 2 teaspoons of olive oil over the pasta.
- Remove the asparagus from the skillet with a slotted spoon, leaving oil in skillet, and set the asparagus aside. Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels, and place in the hot skillet over medium-high heat. Sprinkle the shrimp with the seafood seasoning, and cook and stir the shrimp until they are pink and no longer translucent. Return the asparagus to the skillet, and cook the shrimp and asparagus until thoroughly heated, 2 to 3 more minutes.
- Stir the shrimp and asparagus into the cooked fettuccine, and toss with shredded Parmesan cheese. The olive oil serves as the sauce, so add more as needed to generously coat the pasta, shrimp and asparagus.

- Preheat oven to 450.
- Steam asparagus for ten minutes, then arrange in an ungreased baking dish (any size will do).
- Melt butter and mix in soup mix and pour over asparagus. (If you don't want to use all the butter, cut the stick in half and replace with as much water.).
- Top with mozzarella cheese (as much as you want!).
- Bake at 450 for 12-15 minutes, until cheese is melted and golden-brown around edges. Serve hot.

- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Cook linguine at a boil until still very firm to the bite, about 6 minutes. Drain, reserving 2/3 cup of the pasta cooking water. Keep warm.
- While pasta cooks, remove 1 teaspoon zest and squeeze 1 tablespoon juice from lemon.
- Heat 1 tablespoon oil in a 10-inch skillet over medium heat. Add onion; cook, stirring occasionally, for 4 minutes. Add linguine, the reserved pasta cooking water, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper. Cook just until pasta is tender and most of the water is absorbed, stirring frequently, about 4 minutes. Add lemon juice, chicken broth, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, and butter. Cook and stir 2 minutes more.
- Meanwhile, preheat an outdoor grill for medium heat and lightly oil the grate.
- Combine shrimp, remaining oil and pepper, and garlic in a medium bowl. Thread shrimp onto four 10-inch skewers, leaving 1/4 inch between pieces. Coat asparagus with cooking spray.

- I have used 1 Tbsp hot olive oil in place of butter and mixed some fromage frais into pasta for a change.
- Boil or steam asparagus in lightly salted water until just tender (approx 8-10 minutes) Cook pasta in another large pan of boiling salted water.

- Bring a large pot of water to a boil, add 1 Tbsp salt and 1 Tbsp olive oil and cook pasta according to package instructions until aldente, or desired doneness (meanwhile, continue with recipe). Drain pasta, return to pot and cover to keep warm.
- Place a large, deep pan over medium/high heat and add 1 Tbsp olive oil and 1 Tbsp butter. Add asparagus, season lightly with 1/4 tsp salt and 1/8 tsp pepper and cook uncovered for 5 minutes or until crisp tender, stirring occasionally. Remove from pan.
- In the same hot skillet, add 2 Tbsp oil and 2 Tbsp butter. Once the butter is melted, add minced garlic and sautee, stirring frequently for 1 minute. Add shrimp in a single layer and season with 1 tsp salt and 1/4 tsp black pepper. Saute until shrimp are pink and not translucent (about 2 minutes per side). Be careful not to overcook or shrimp will be tough.
- Add 1/4 cup lemon juice, 1/3 cup chopped parsley, 1 Tbsp lemon zest and stir to combine. Turn off the heat and return pasta and asparagus to the pan. Toss everything to combine and serve with grated parmesan.
