Cherry Limeade Pie Recipes

Steps:
- Pour the lime juice into a pitcher. Mix together the sugar and 1 cup water in a separate container and stir to dissolve and make a syrup. Add the sugar syrup to the lime juice and top it up with 4 cups water. Chill in the fridge for about an hour.
- To serve: Fill mason jars with ice cubes, add some limeade and top them off with a drizzle of cherry syrup and a maraschino cherry.
CHERRY LIMEADE PIE
Cherry Limeades are my favorite drinks! I thought why not make a pie that taste like one? This is what I came up with. It is really good!

Steps:
- 1. Pour 1/4 cup of cherry juice in to a medium bowl (this is the bowl that you will eventually mix all the ingredients in make sure it is big enough)and microwave for about 45 seconds.
- 2. When the juice is done, pour the lime jello into the cherry juice and mix well. Its ok if it doesn't dissolve.
- 3. Drain the rest of the cherries and coarsely chop them. I like to use my small food processor for this.
- 4. Fold in the cool whip with the jello mixture. When that is all incorperated then mix in the chopped cherries.
- 5. Pour the pie mixture into the shortbread crust. Cover and let it chill in the fridge for about 6 hours or over night. Enjoy

- For the crust. Turn the graham crackers into crumbs with a food processor. When the crumbs are very small add the softened butter and mix with your hands for about 2 min to blend it well.
- Butter or spray 9" spring form pan. Pour the mixture in the pan and press and pat into bottom until it’s even. Bake at 350 ºF degrees 5-10 minutes. Set aside.
- In a blender mix the egg yolks and the condensed milk for 3 minutes then add the zest and juice and mix for 3 more minutes. The mixture will turn very thick and hot {fun chemical reactions}.

- In medium size saucepan, stir together the beaten-strained yolks, cornstarch, sugar, cherry & lime juices, lime zest and salt. Stirring with whisk constantly in the sauce pan over medium to medium-high heat, until mixture thickens (about 5-6 minutes).
