EASY CINNAMON BARS
Homemade bars using on-hand ingredients are as easy as 1, 2, 3.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 350°F. Lightly grease bottom and sides of 15x10x1-inch pan with shortening. In large bowl, mix sugar, butter and egg yolk with spoon. Stir in flour and cinnamon. Press in pan.
- Beat egg white and water until foamy; brush over dough. Sprinkle with nuts.
- Bake 18 to 23 minutes or until very light brown. For bars, immediately cut into 7 rows by 6 rows. Cool in pan on wire rack, at least 30 minutes.

- In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add egg; beat well. Combine the flour, cinnamon and salt; add to creamed mixture and beat until smooth. Stir in pecans. Spread into a greased 8-in. square baking pan. , Bake at 350° for 35-40 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Cut into small bars while warm; roll in confectioners' sugar.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease an 11x7-inch baking dish.
- Combine flour, sweetener, cinnamon, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl; mix until well combined.
- Whisk together egg, oil, applesauce, and honey in a second bowl until well combined. Stir into the dry ingredients. Fold in nuts. Transfer batter into the prepared baking dish and smooth out the surface.
- Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 18 to 22 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool.
- For the icing, combine powdered sugar substitute, butter, honey, almond milk, vanilla, and cinnamon in a bowl. Spread or drizzle icing onto the cooled bars.

- Heat oven to 160C/fan 140C/gas 3. Butter and line the base of a 18 x 25cm tin. Mix the oats, seeds and nuts in a roasting tin, then put in the oven for 5-10 mins to toast.
- Meanwhile, warm the butter, honey and sugar in a pan, stirring until butter is melted. Add the oat mix, cinnamon and dried fruit, then mix until all the oats are well coated. Tip into the tin, press down lightly, then bake for 30 mins. Cool in tin, then cut into 12 bars.

- COMBINE all ingredients, mixing until crumbly. Press firmly into greased 13"x9" cake pan.
- BAKE at 350°F for 15-18 minutes, or until light golden.

- Preheat oven to 350°. In a large bowl, beat sugar, oil, honey and egg until well blended. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt; gradually beat into sugar mixture. - In a large bowl, combine butter and brown sugar until crumbly, about 2 minutes. Beat in egg. Gradually beat in coffee. Combine the flour, baking powder, cinnamon, baking soda and salt.
