Dirty Potatoes Recipes

Steps:

• 1. Preheat oven to 425.
• 2. Scrub or peel potatoes, cut into bite sized pieces. Place in bowl and drizzle with olive oil. Sprinkle with dry onion soup mix, stir to coat.
• 3. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray. Put potatoes on sheet. Bake 20-25 minutes or until fork tender.

Steps:

• Put onion, mushrooms and 2 tablespoons of the butter in 2-quart casserole.
• Microwave on high power, uncovered, 2 minutes.
• Stir in tarragon, wine, salt and pepper.
• Microwave on high power for 5 to 7 minutes, until vegetables are very tender, stirring once.
• Set aside to keep warm.
• Put potatoes and water in 2-quart casserole, cover.
• Microwave on high power for 14 to 16 minutes, until very tender, stirring twice.
• Let stand, covered, 3 minutes.
• Add the rest of the butter (2 tablespoons) to potatoes, mash.
• Add mushroom mixture with its liquor and milk.
• Whip until fluffy.
• Add more milk if too thick.

Steps:

• Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
• Combine hash browns, sour cream, Cheddar cheese, bacon bits, and ranch dressing mix in a bowl; stir until mixed. Pour into a 9x12-inch baking pan.
• Bake in the preheated oven until potatoes are golden brown and cooked through, 45 to 60 minutes.
