Fast Baked Fish image

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 400°. Place fish in a greased 11x7-in. baking dish. Sprinkle with seasoned salt, pepper and paprika if desired. Drizzle with butter. , Cover and bake until fish just begins to flake easily with a fork, 15-20 minutes.

Steps:

  • Place fish in oiled baking dish.
  • Mix remaining ingredients, except paprika, and spread over fish.
  • Bake at 475 degrees for 17-20 minutes, depending on the thickness of the fish, until browned.
  • Sprinkle with paprika.
  • Add diced tomatoes (optional).

1 1/2-2 lbs salmon fillets or 1 1/2-2 lbs tuna fillets
1/2-3/4 cup oil-based mayonnaise (canola or any oil based mayo with the flavor you like)
1 -3 tablespoon minced onion (depends if you like alot of onion when you are cooking)
1/2 teaspoon mustard powder
1/2 teaspoon marjoram
1 tablespoon lemon juice
fresh ground pepper, for taste
paprika (optional)
diced tomato, add after dish has baked (optional)

VENETIAN SPRITZ

This is an aperitif served in Venice, very sour and very refreshing. It can be garnished either with an orange slice or and olive, my perference is an orange slice. The liquer traditionally used is Aperol, but Recipezaar would not recognise this.

Steps:

  • Start by pouring the Aperol into a champagne flute.
  • Next add the prosecco.
  • Top with sparkling water or soda water and garnish with a half slice of orange.

Glazed Eggnog Spritz image

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 350°.
  • In large bowl, beat sugar and 1 cup butter with mixer on medium speed until fluffy. Beat in vanilla, 2 tsp rum flavor and the egg until smooth. Beat in flour and 1 tsp nutmeg.
  • Place 1/4 of the dough at a time in cookie press.
  • On ungreased cookie sheet, form desired shapes with dough.
  • Bake 6-10 minutes until edges are lightly browned. Cool 1 minute; form desired shapes with dough.
  • In small bowl, stir all glaze ingredients except nutmeg with spoon until smooth and thin enough to drizzle. Pour mixture into small resealable plastic food-storage bag; cut off tiny corner of bag. Squeeze bag to drizzle glaze on cookies. Before glaze is set, sprinkle 1/2 tsp nutmeg over cookies.

  • Cream shortening, butter and cream cheese, use butter, and cream cheese straight out of the refrigerator. Add vanilla and sugar, beating well. Gradually add salt and flour.
