GOOEY SUGAR COOKIE BARS
Reminiscent of classic gooey butter cakes, these bars are packed with plenty of butter, made easy with sugar cookie mix, and finished with whipped cream and juicy strawberries.

Steps:
- Heat oven to 350°F. Spray bottom of 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray.
- In large bowl, stir cookie mix and 1/2 cup softened butter until mixture forms coarse crumbs. Spread mixture evenly in pan; press lightly.
- In large bowl, beat cream cheese, 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar, eggs and vanilla with electric mixer on low speed until blended; scrape bottom and side of bowl. Beat on high speed until smooth. Beat in 1/3 cup melted butter until blended. Pour over cookie mixture; spread evenly.
- Bake 30 to 35 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely, about 2 hours.
- Just before serving, in medium bowl, mix strawberries, 2 tablespoons powdered sugar and the lemon juice. Let stand 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. To serve, cut bars into 5 rows by 3 rows. Top each with strawberries and a dollop of whipped cream. Cover and refrigerate any remaining bars.

- Heat oven to 350°F. Grease 13x9-inch pan with shortening or cooking spray.
- In large bowl, place cake mix, brown sugar and corn syrup. Break eggs into 1-cup glass measuring cup; fill with water until it reaches 2/3 cup. Add egg mixture to bowl; beat with electric mixer on medium speed 1 minute or until combined. Spread in pan. Sprinkle marshmallows and chocolate chips over batter.
- Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cut into 6 rows by 4 rows and enjoy!

- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C). Grease a 13x18-inch baking sheet.
- Beat white sugar and 1 cup butter together in a bowl until fluffy. Add eggs 1 at a time, mixing after each addition. Add 2 teaspoons almond extract and vanilla extract; mix well.
- Whisk flour, 3/4 teaspoon salt, and baking soda together in a bowl. Add to egg mixture and stir until just combined. Spread onto the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake in the preheated oven until a toothpick inserted into the cookie comes out clean, 10 to 15 minutes; they won't look done. Cool completely, about 30 minutes.
- Beat 1/2 cup butter in a bowl using an electric mixer until smooth and creamy. Add 1 teaspoon almond extract and 1/4 teaspoon salt. Add confectioners' sugar, 1 cup at a time, mixing until combined. Add heavy cream, 1 tablespoon at a time, until frosting reaches a smooth, spreadable consistency. Spread frosting over cooled cookie bars.

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13 inch pan.
- In a large bowl, mix together the cake mix, melted butter and 1 egg until smooth. Batter will be thick. Spread evenly into the bottom of the prepared pan. Next, sprinkle the chocolate chips over the layer of dough. Finally, beat the cream cheese, 2 eggs and confectioners' sugar together in a medium bowl until smooth. Pour as evenly as you can over the chocolate chips.
- Bake for 35 to 40 minutes in the preheated oven, until the top is set. Let cool for at least 30 minutes before cutting into bars.

Once the mixture is creamed and fluffy, mix in the eggs and vanilla extract until smooth, then mix in the baking soda, cream of tartar, and salt. Slowly mix in flour until the mixture is just combined.
- Press about 2/3 of this mixture in the bottom and about 1/2” up the sides of the prepared pan. Spread dulce de leche over the top, then sprinkle the remaining dough over the bars.
- Bake for 22-25 minutes, or until the top looks done and is golden around the edges. It will still be someone jiggly in the center. Cool completely before cutting. It’s easier to cut when it’s chilled.
