This is a clan favorite from the early years. Everyone in the family makes it and has been enjoying it since childhood. It's quick, cheap and gets better after reheating. Great for the college students!

Steps:
- Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add dry egg noodles and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until al dente; drain.
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef; drain fat. Stir in tomato and vegetable soups, salt and pepper. Mix in the noodles and cook for 10 minutes.
- Transfer mixture to an 11x7 inch baking dish and layer with cheese. Bake in the preheated oven 20 minutes, or until cheese is melted and lightly brown.

Steps:
- Cook macaroni. Brown ground beef and onion. Add tomatoes and tomato sauce and macaroni. Simmer 20 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.

- Put the beef into a deep skillet. Cook until there is no pink in the meat. Drain the ground beef and set it to the side.
- Place the 2 onions and the butter into the skillet. Cook until the onions are soft. Place the flour and cook it till it forms a rue and it becomes a light golden brown. Pour in the milk and stir until it becomes a gravy. If it gets too thick, pour in the water to thin it out a little bit.
- Place the cooked beef back into the skillet and let the gravy heat the ground beef back up. Serve immediately.
