STROMBOLI
I got this recipe off of Cooking Live. You can mix and match the toppings as you wish. It is a fast and easy dinner. I make the pizza dough in my bread machine, but you can buy it pre-made.

Steps:
- Preheat oven with pizza stone in it to 450 degrees.
- If you don't have a stone a baking sheet will do.
- Sprinkle a little flour on your work surface.
- Useing a rolling pin roll dough into a 10 x 14 inch rectangle.
- Cover the rectangle with layers of your desired toppings, leaving a 1 inch border around the sides and at the top.
- Mix the 3 cheeses and the herbs together in a small bowl and sprinkle over the top.
- Starting at the end closest to you, roll the stromboli into a log.
- Seal the dough by pinching firmly with fingertips on sides and ends.
- Sprinkle a little cornmeal on a pizza paddle and put stromboli on the paddle.
- Make sure the seam is on the bottom.
- Use a pastry brush or a mister to apply olive oil.
- Carefully place stromboli on preheated stone, turn down oven to 400 degrees and bake for 35 minutes.
- Carefully remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes.
- Slice with a serrated knife.

HAM AND CHEESE STROMBOLI
A pizza in half, much better than calzones. Had them all over in the Italian areas in Philadelphia growing up. Serve with spaghetti sauce or Ranch dressing.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C). Let dough rise according to package instructions, then punch down, and divide into 4 pieces.
- On a floured surface, roll each piece of dough into a long oval shape. Spread each with sauce, then layer with ham, capacola, salami, and pepperoni. Sprinkle with garlic powder, then top with mozzarella, onion, mushrooms and bell pepper. Bring the long sides together over the center, and pinch together to seal. Turn over, so that the seam is on the bottom, and place on an ungreased baking sheet. With a sharp knife, cut 3 diagonal slices to allow the steam to escape.
- Bake in preheated oven for 20 to 30 minutes, or until golden brown.

This is great as a main dish or an appetizer. You can change the ingredients to your liking, we prefer the pepperoni. Serve this with pizza sauce for dipping.

- Prepare dough as directed on package. Roll out into a rectangle.
- Mix next seven ingredients � spread on rolled out dough.
- Layer with pepperoni and mozzarella.
- Roll like a jellyroll, brush with egg white. Bake at 350 for 20-25 minutes.
- Serve slices with pizza sauce for dipping. Makes 2 rolls.

- Place each loaf of bread dough in a large greased bowl, turning once to grease top. Cover and let rise in a warm place until doubled, about 45 minutes. , Preheat oven to 375°. Punch dough down. Roll each loaf into a 15x12-in. rectangle. , In a small bowl, combine eggs, oil and seasonings. Brush over each dough to within 1/2 in. of edges; set remaining egg mixture aside. Layer beef, pepperoni, cheeses and onion on each dough to within 1/2 in. of edges. Roll up each, jelly-roll style, beginning with a long side. Tuck ends underneath; seal edges well. , Place each, seam side down, on a greased baking sheet. Brush with egg mixture. - Remove dough from package and roll out on lightly floured surface to desired size.
- Add alternating rows of pepperoni, mozzarella, and salami until dough is covered, leaving 1½ inches (4 cm) of space along the outside of the dough.
- Add the roasted red pepper, shredded mozzarella, red pepper flakes, and oregano on top of meat and cheese.
- Roll up the stromboli slowly.
- Combine melted butter, garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.
- Brush the butter mixture onto the stromboli, evenly coating each side.
- Bake stromboli at 400˚F (200˚C) until golden brown (about 15-20 minutes).

- Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
- Punch dough down. On a lightly floured surface, roll each loaf into 20x8 inch rectangle. Place one rectangle on a greased baking sheet. Spread spaghetti sauce in an 18x4 inch strip down the center.
