- In a shallow dish or heavy-duty zip-lock plastic bag, add the first 5 ingredients; stir to combine.
- Remove 1/2 cup soy sauce mixture and set aside.
- Prick pork several times with a fork; place in remaining soy sauce mixture.
- Cover or seal; chill for 1 hour.
- Remove pork and throw away marinade.
- Grill pork over medium heat, covered, for 11-13 minutes on each side or until a meat thermometer registers 160°, basting with reserved soy sauce mixture.

My friend Wendy introduced me to Honey Garlic Pork Chops at an amazing Chinese restaurant in town, Sea Garden. They are absolutely so delicious--I had to come home and try to recreate them. This is as close as I can get.

Steps:
- Heat oil in a large (twelve to fourteen inch) heavy-bottomed skillet over medium-high heat.
- When oil is hot, add pork pieces, being careful not to crowd. (If skillet is too crowded, it won't cook properly. Split the pork into two batches, if needed. There should be space between the pieces, so that liquid can evaporate).
- While cooking, season pork with red pepper flakes, salt and pepper.
- Saute pork, turning occasionally, until pork pieces are nicely browned and turning crisp on all sides.
- Add garlic and continue to stir until fragrant, approximately one or two minutes.
- (If the pork was split into batches, combine the cooked meat and garlic before going to next step).
- Turn heat down to medium; add honey to pork.
- Stir well, continue to cook for two to three more minues until honey has coated pork well and has slightly thickened (and darkened).
- Enjoy!

- Trim fat, butterfly roast by cutting lengthwise to 1/2 inch of other side.
- Place in dish or large zip-loc.
- Combine soy sauce, ginger, and garlic, pour over roast.
- Refrigerate 3 hours or more.
- turning occasionally.
- Remove roast, discard marinade.
- Combine brown sugar, honey and sesame oil in a saucepan.
- Cook over low heat until sugar dissolves.
- Coat grill rack with cooking spray.
- Place roast over medium hot coals (350-400°F).
- Brush with mixture.
- Cook 20-25 minutes or until meat thermometer reaches 160°F.
- Baste frequently.

- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season pork with salt and pepper. Place pork in the hot skillet and sear until brown on all sides, about 3 to 4 minutes per side. Transfer pork to a 6-quart slow cooker.
- Add garlic cloves to the skillet. Cook, stirring often, over medium-high heat until brown, about 5 minutes. Add onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes. Sprinkle flour over garlic and onion and cook, stirring, for 2 minutes.
- Pour chicken broth into the pan and bring to a boil while scraping the browned bits of food off the bottom of the pan with a wooden spoon. Stir in lemon juice, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, and bring to a boil. Pour broth mixture and honey over the pork in the slow cooker.
- Close the lid and cook on High for 3 hours or on Low for 6 hours, until pork is fork-tender. Transfer pork to a platter and let rest for 5 minutes. Pour cooking liquid into a saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer until thick, 2 to 3 minutes. Lightly mash the garlic cloves. Slice the pork, and serve with the mashed garlic cloves and sauce.

- In a bowl, whisk together honey, Dijon mustard, soy sauce, garlic, rosemary, and thyme. Season pork on all sides with salt and pepper, to taste. Place pork in a large zip-top plastic bag. Pour half of the marinade over the pork and toss to coat. Seal the bag and refrigerate the pork in the marinade for at least 30 minutes, or up to 24 hours. Rotate the pork occasionally so that the marinade touches all sides. Set aside the remaining ½ of the marinade in a separate bowl, cover, and refrigerate for later. To cook the tenderloin in the oven: Remove pork from the marinade and place in a baking dish that has been coated with cooking spray. Discard bag with the marinade. Allow pork to come to room temperature while you preheat the oven. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove cover, brush with reserved marinade, and place under the broiler for about 5 minutes (or until a crispy crust forms on top), and pork reaches an internal temperature of 140 degrees F. Remove from oven and allow pork to rest for about 10 minutes before slicing. Serve with any remaining refrigerated marinade. To cook the tenderloin on the grill: Remove pork from the marinade and allow to come to room temperature while you heat the grill. Discard bag with the marinade. Heat the grill to medium heat. - Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
