JAKE'S POTATO BAKE
These are my infamous potatoes that have become a tradition with many families. I came up with the recipe through trial and error.

Number Of Ingredients 5
Steps:
- Dice potatoes and place in a sealable bag (ziplock style).
- Best to split quantity into two bags.
- Add olive oil and Cavenders to each bag, seal and shake vigorously.
- (Optional) Allow potatoes to marinade for an hour.
- Preheat oven to 450°F.
- Empty bags onto two cookies sheets in a single.
- Flip potatoes once during cooking, bake until they are crunchy.
- Transfer to a casserole pan, cover with cheese and bacon bits.
- Broil until cheese is bubbly.
- Enjoy my family favorite.
PERFECT BAKED POTATO
This baked potato has a crisp, golden skin, and is light and fluffy on the inside. Great comfort food!

Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Scrub the potato, and pierce the skin several times with a knife or fork. Rub the skin with olive oil, then with salt.
- Place the potato in the preheated oven, and bake for 90 minutes, or until slightly soft and golden brown. Slice the potato down the center, and serve with butter and black pepper. Sprinkle shredded Cheddar cheese over the top, if desired.

- 1 Preheat oven to 200°C. Spray a non-stick pan with oil. Heat over a medium heat. Gently cook onions and garlic until softened and slightly brown.
- 2 Spray a large baking dish with oil. Place potato slices in a layer in the bottom of the dish, slightly overlapping at the edges. Place a third of the onion mixture over the top, then repeat with layers of potato and onion, until everything is used up. Pour milk over.
- 3 Place in oven and cook for 25 minutes, covered in foil. Remove from oven and sprinkle over parmesan and thyme. Return to oven, uncovered, for 10 more minutes, or until cheese is melted and crispy.
