- 1. Line sides and bottom of 10 inch springform pan w with lady fingers 2. Stir together softened ice cream, add instant coffee and Kahlua, stir well 3. Stir in 7 of the crushed candy bars 4. Spoon ice cream into prepared pan 5. Freeze until solid 6. Spread Cool Whip 7. Sprinkle with remaining candy bar and freeze until serving time
KAHLUA CAKE WITH KAHLUA TOPPING
One of my favorite drinks is made with kahlua so I couldn't resist making and then posting this yummy cake. Plan ahead, cake must cool for 4 hours. Cooling time is included in prep time. I got it from Paula Deen's magazines.

Steps:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees; grease and flour a 10-cup Bundt pan.
- Sprinkle chopped pecans evenly over bottom of pan; set aside.
- In large bowl, combine cake mix and pudding mix.
- Add water, oil, liqueur and eggs.
- Beat at medium speed with an electric mixer until smooth.
- Pour into prepared pan and bake for 45 minutes, or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean.
- While cake is baking, prepare Kahlua topping; in a medium saucepan, combine all ingredients.
- Bring to a boil over medium heat; boil for 2 minutes, stirring often.
- When cake is done baking, carefully pour hot Kahlua topping over cake.
- Let stand in pan, for 4 hours.
- Invert cake onto wire rack.

- In the chilled bowl of a mixer or by hand, whip the cream until frothy, add sugar and vanilla and beat until thickened (firm peaks). Do not overbeat.
- Drizzle a few tablespoons of kahlua on the bottom of the pan. Place one layer of ice cream sandwiches on the bottom of a 9x13 pan, making sure to fit them snugly together. You may need to cut them in half (or vertically) to arrange them together.
- Pour about a cup of kahlua onto the sandwiches, waiting until the Kahlua disappears into the holes of the sandwiches.
