  • Combine butter, flour, and pecans.
  • Press into 13x9 inch pan and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool.
  • Blend cream cheese, powdered sugar, and 1 cup Cool Whip.
  • Spread over cooled crust.
  • Blend instant puddings with milk until thick. Spread over cream cheese filling.
  • Top with remaining Cool Whip and chill well.
  • ***You can use whatever flavor instant pudding you like.

  • Preheat oven to 350°. Place flour in a small bowl; cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in 1/2 cup walnuts. Press onto bottom of an ungreased 13x9-in. baking dish. Bake until light golden brown, 12-15 minutes. Cool completely on a wire rack., In a small bowl, beat cream cheese and confectioners' sugar until smooth; fold in 1 carton whipped topping. Spread over crust. In a large bowl, whisk milk and pudding mix for 2 minutes. Gently spread over cream cheese layer. Top with remaining whipped topping. Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. In a mixing bowl combine flour, pecans, butter, and sugar with a pastry blender. Pat or press into a 9 x 13 metal baking pan. Bake for 13 minutes. Cool completely before covering with next layer.
  • In another mixing bowl, beat together cream cheese, powdered sugar, and 3 cups whipped topping. Spread evenly over crust.
  • Prepare pudding as directed on package, but only use 3 cups milk. Spread evening over cream cheese layer.
  • Spread 3 cups whipped topping on top of pudding layer. Chill for 2 hours, cut, and serve. Refrigerate any leftovers.

  • Preheat oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Coat a 9x13 inch baking dish with cooking spray.
  • In a bowl, cream together margarine with 1/4 cup confectioners' sugar. Mix in flour and 1 cup pecans. Press into prepared dish.
  • Bake in preheated oven 15 minutes, until very lightly browned. Cool completely.
  • In a bowl, cream together cream cheese with remaining 1 cup confectioners' sugar. Fold in half the whipped topping. Spread over cooled crust.

  • Coat the inside bottom of a 13"x9" baking dish with cooking spray.
  • In a small bowl, combine the cracker crumbs, 1/3 cup sugar & the melted butter, then press this mixture into the bottom of the prepared baking dish.
  • In a small bowl, whisk together the cream cheese, 1/4 cup of the milk & the remaining sugar until smooth, then spread it over the crust.
  • In another bowl, for 2 minutes whisk together the remaining milk with the pudding mix, then let it stand for another 2 minutes or until soft-set.

  • Line a 13 by 9 inch pan with graham crackers. Some will have to be cut to fit. Cook vanilla pudding mix using 3 1/2 cups of milk in saucepan according to package directions. Pour over graham crackers in pan. Let set for about 5 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, wash saucepan. Place another layer of graham crackers over the vanilla pudding. Cook chocolate pudding with 3 1/2 cups of milk. Pour over vanilla layer.
  • Add another layer of graham crackers. Cook butterscotch pudding with remaining 3 1/2 cups of milk and pour over chocolate layer. Let cool for about 10 minutes.
  • Place in refrigerator for 4 hours or overnight. Cut in squares and serve with a dollop of Cool Whip.

This recipe reminds me of those big, fun family dinners we used to have when I was a kid. This is one of my favorite recipes of my grandmother's. The layers consist of a nutty baked bottom crust, creamy cheesecake-like center and top layer of pistachio pudding. If desired, you could also use any other flavor of pudding mix. Yummy!
