Steps:

• Place pan in refrigerator or freezer until chocolate is firm. Cut or break into pieces.
• Cooking time is cooling time.

• Line a 15x10x1-in. baking pan with heavy-duty foil. Arrange saltines in a single layer on foil; set aside., In a large heavy saucepan over medium heat, melt butter. Stir in sugar. Bring to a boil; cook and stir for 1-2 minutes or until sugar is dissolved. Pour evenly over crackers., Bake at 350° for 8-10 minutes or until bubbly. Immediately sprinkle with chocolate chips. • In a saucepan combine the sugar and the butter. Bring to a boil and boil for 3 minutes. Immediately pour over saltines and spread t cover crackers completely.

• Sprinkle the chocolate chips evenly over top; return to oven for 2 minutes, or until the chips soften and are shiny.
• Remove from oven (turn oven off now) and spread the chocolate evenly; then sprinkle the Skor bits over the chocolate, pressing down with a very light touch to embed the Skor bits into the chocolate.
• You could cut them into bars right away, but they will cut easier if allowed to chill in the refrigerator for at least a few minutes.
• Best served at room temperature, not cold.
