BEST BREAD MACHINE BREAD
I found this recipe on Allrecipes.com. It makes the lightest white bread with a flaky crust. I wanted to share this recipe because it makes the best loaf of bread and is foolproof. I just got a breadmaker and I have been trying many recipes. This is by far the ultimate white bread recipe. Being new to bread making I was a bit afraid to mix the yeast like this but it is really simple and should turn out perfect!

Steps:
- Place the water, sugar, and the yeast in the pan of the bread machine. Mix it up a bit. Let the yeast dissolve and foam for 10 minutes.
- Add the oil, flour and the salt to the yeast.
- Select white bread setting for 1 1/2 pound loaf and press start.
- I use the light crust setting but each machine may be different.
- A little helpful hint. After every loaf of bread I made the kneading paddle would get stuck when I tried to clean it. I was afraid I was going to break it trying to force it off. Now I spray it with vegetable oil spray before each use and it slips off easily for cleaning.

OUR DAILY BREAD (BREAD MACHINE)
This dense, nutty, slightly sweet wholemeal loaf is our 'daily bread' here at 'Avalon'. It keeps well and toasts beautifully. The consistency is more cake like than bread like - but we like it that way!

Steps:
- Place all ingredients, except for the sunflower seeds, into the mixing pan in the order recommended for your brand of breadmaker.
- In our breadmaker we put wet ingredients first, then dry ingredients, then yeast.
- Place sunflower seeds into the fruit and nut dispenser of your breadmaker or, if you don't have a dispenser, keep them aside until later.
- Set breadmaker settings to WHOLEWEAT, MEDIUM (crust), and LARGE (size)- this recipe makes a 1250g loaf.
- If your breadmaker has a fruit and nut dispenser, set it to dispense the nuts eg NUTS YES.
- Press START.
- Check the consistency of the dough during the kneading stage and add a little more water or flour if the dough seems too dry or too wet.
- If you don't have a fruit and nut dispenser, add the sunflower seeds towards the end of the first knead.
- Check loaf again towards the end of the final rise and if necessary, use your hand to form it into a neater shape.
- When the BAKE cycle is finished, remove the loaf from the pan and cool on a rack.
- To give the loaf a nice shiny finish, spray with spray oil while it is still warm.

EVERYDAY BREAD (FRENCH BREAD) ABM BREAD MACHINE
This is our everyday bread that we use for sandwiches and toast. It's dairy and egg free which makes it a favorite of mine - this also makes it safe to use the bread machine timer. This recipe makes a 2 pound loaf, but you can easily halve it for smaller machines.

SOFTEST EVER BREAD MACHINE BREAD
My sister gave me this recipe soon after I brought home my bread machine. It's a staple in our house. Soft and fluffy and great for sandwiches or just to eat fresh out of the oven! UPDATE 3/25/2005 - I made this using the dough cycle of my bread maker today but baked it in the oven and it turned out perfectly! I baked it at 350°F for 25-30 minutes.
