  • In a small bowl, beat the cream cheese, chopped almonds, onions, parsley, lemon juice, salt and pepper until blended. Spread over bread slices. Cut each into three 1-in.-wide strips., Cut carrots in half widthwise, then cut in half lengthwise. Using a vegetable peeler, shape carrot pieces into fingers. Using a small amount of additional cream cheese, attach an almond slice to the tip of each finger for finger nail. Place a finger on top of each sandwich.

Steps:

  • Put butter on one side of the bread slices.
  • For the filling, mix together chopped pineapple, bean sprouts, grated cheese, 1 tbsp mayonnaise, fresh cream, tomato ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and a little Tobasco sauce.
  • On the bread slices, keep a lettuce leaf and put the filling on it.
  • Cover the filling with another lettuce leaf and cover the sandwich finally with another slice of bread spread with mayonnaise.
  • Press slightly.
  • Trim the sides of the bread, cut in triangles and serve.

Steps:

  • Combine the softened cream cheese and pineapple. Add the sugar and the pecans to this mixture. Trim the crust from the bread slices. Spread the cheese mixture on the bread slices and make into sandwiches. Place the sandwiches on a tray and cover with plastic wrap. Chill
  • When you are ready to serve, cut the sandwiches into thin slices about 1 inch in width and place on a decorative tray.
