  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease one 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.
  • In large bowl measure flour, sugar, baking powder, soda, salt, cinnamon, and raisins. Stir thoroughly. Make a well in center.
  • In small bowl beat egg until frothy. Mix in melted butter and milk. Pour into well. Stir just enough to moisten. Scrape into greased 9x5x3 inch loaf pan.
  • Bake in 350 degree F (175 degree C) oven for 1 hour. Serve plain or toasted with butter.

Fold in raisins. Combine cinnamon and remaining sugar; set aside. , Spoon half the batter into 2 greased 8x4-in. loaf pans. Sprinkle with half of the reserved cinnamon sugar; repeat layers. Cut through batter with a knife to swirl. , Bake 55-60 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 10 minutes before removing from pans to wire racks.   • TOPPING--------.

  • Pre-heat oven to 350 deg F.
  • Mix 1 ½ cups of Raisin Brand, Milk, 2 tablespoons of the Margarine in bowl.
  • Add Egg and ¾ cup Sugar, mix well.

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch loaf pan.
  • Bring raisins and water to a boil in a small saucepan, reduce heat to medium, and boil 5 minutes; set aside to cool.
  • Mix rolled oats, bran cereal, whole wheat flour, sugar, and salt in a bowl. Mix milk with lemon juice in a small bowl and let stand 1 or 2 minutes to sour.   • In a large bowl, combine 1 1/3 cups flour, wheat bran, wheat germ, brown sugar, undissolved yeast, and salt. Heat water, milk, and butter until very warm (120* to 130*F). Gradually add to flour mixture. Beat 2 minutes at medium speed of electric mixer, scraping bowl occasionally. Stir in raisins and enough remaining flour(use oat flour first) to make a soft dough. Knead on lightly floured surface until smooth and elastic, about 8 to 10 minutes. Cover; let rest 10 minutes.
  • Divide dough in half; roll each to 12 x 7-inch rectangle. Beginning at short end, roll up tightly as for jelly roll. Pinch seam and ends to seal. Place, seam sides down, in 2 greased 8-1 / 2 x 4-1 / 2-inch loaf pans. Cover; let rise in warm, draft-free place until doubled in size, about 1 hour.
