Here's an easy, refreshing spritz to enjoy year round-who says you can't drink red wine in the summer? We like to use light red such as pinot noir, grenache, or gamay in this drink.

- Fill a wine glass halfway with the super-chilled wine ... the glass should frost ... that's when you know your wine's cool enough.
- Splash in the club soda until the glass is three-quarters full. (Note: You can also use ginger ale or lemon lime soda!)

WINE SPRITZER
Alot of times, if a bottle of red wine sits open for a couple of days, I find the flavor has changed and I don't enjoy it as much. Instead of throwing it out, I like to make wine spritzers instead. Instead of using ginger ale or seltzer, I really like them made with Fresca. Freshens up the wine and is really tasty! Add more or less Fresca for your tastes. Great for summer evenings on the deck.
