Steps:
- Place first four ingredients in crock pot.
- Cook on low 6-8 hours.
- 30-60 minutes prior to serving, remove chicken, shred and return to crock pot.
- To serve, use chicken mixture as filling inside tortillas.
- Add desired condiments.

These chicken has a kick to it. If you are looking for a milder taste substitute salsa for the tomatoes with green chilies and hot peppers.

- Sprinkle chicken with garlic and lemon powder.
- Place in bottom of crock pot topped with tomatoes with green chilies and jalapeno and cayenne pepper.

Steps:
- Add chicken to slow cooker.
- Sprinkle taco seasoning over chicken.
- Pour salsa and soup over chicken.
- Cook on low for 6 to 8 hours.
- Remove from heat and stir in sour cream.
- Serve with rice.
- NOTES:
- You may use half the packet of taco seasoning (I have started doing this to reduce sodium content myself).
- Some slow cookers cook faster than others. Mine is a true slow cooker (have had it over 10 years.) The newer ones cook a bit faster and you may have to adjust your cooking time based on that!

I have made this a lot and it goes over amazingly every time. Even my kids like it and they are pretty picky most of the time!! My husband actually gets excited when I say Im making it!! I use frozen chicken because I think that the flavor comes out better if it cooks for a bit longer. But you can use thawed

Steps:
- In crock pot combine the following.
- Chicken breast, can of black beans, jar of salsa, can of corn.
- Cook on high for approximately 4 to 4.5 hours or until chicken is almost cooked through. (if using thawed chicken cook time will drop significantly and will probably need to be checked around 2 hours).
- Once chicken is almost cooked through removed chicken pieces and shred.
- Put shredded chicken back into crock pot and mix well. After mixing if you notice excess liquid on top skim off excess with spoon. (you dont want it runny its better a bit firm).
- Add cream cheese - cut up bar as your put it in, It helps to melt it.
- Stir occasionally to help mix cream cheese evenly and cook for about 30-40 more minutes.
- Cook Rice while the Chicken is finishing.
- When chicken is finished spoon over rice and enjoy!
SHREDDED SALSA VERDE CHICKEN IN THE SLOW COOKER

- Pour about 1/3 of the salsa on the bottom of a slow cooker and place chicken on top. Season with salt and pepper, then add onions and garlic. Pour the remaining salsa evenly over the chicken. Cook on Low for 8 hours.
- Remove chicken and shred with 2 forks. Return shredded chicken to the slow cooker; mix it in with the juices and cook on High for 1 more hour.

- Put chicken into the crock of a slow cooker. Sprinkle taco seasoning over the chicken. Layer diced tomatoes with habaneros, onion, celery, and carrot over the chicken, respectively; top with salsa. Pour water over the entire mixture.

SALSA CHICKEN IN THE CROCK POT
We went on a trip over Labor Day with some friends of ours and they made this for dinner one night. I made it again the next weekend for our big family dinner we have once a month. I received compliments from everyone! Try it, it is so easy. These are the measurements I used. There were 6 adults (we each ate at least 2) and 3 kids (they ate maybe 1 1/2 between them) and we had tons of extras. Next time I will cut it not quite in half for that size of a group. My servings and yields are just estimates because we had so much left over-hard to gauge. I used thawed chicken when I made it.

- In the crock pot, place the chicken breasts and the salsa on top. Heat on high for several hours (mine took about 4 1/2 to 5 hours).
- About 15-20 minutes before serving, shred the chicken with a fork and add the beans and corn, mixing to combine. Continue cooking until the beans and corn are warmed through.
- Serve on flour tortillas with whatever garnishes you want to add.
- Eat like a burrito. Enjoy!
