Steps:
- Preheat the oven to 250 degrees F (convection) or 275 degrees F (conventional).
- Blend pork, beef, cream, ketchup, breadcrumbs, ice water, salt, lemon juice, ground mustard, dehydrated onion, smoked paprika, white pepper, sugar, garlic powder and eggs in a food processor until well blended.
- Turn out into a bowl and add the Cheddar, Swiss cheese, olives, peppers and tomatoes (or add your favorite pizza toppings like salami, pepperoni, mushrooms...).
- Pack into a 9-by-5-by-3-inch loaf pan.
- Bake until internal temperature reads 160 degrees F, about 2 hours.

- Divide dough in half. With greased fingers, pat each half onto an ungreased 12-in. pizza pan. Prick dough thoroughly with a fork. Bake at 400° until lightly browned, 10-12 minutes. I found this in my collection of family favorites. This is served on toasted French bread. You can also use mushrooms, pepperoni and chopped green or red bell peppers.

Steps:
- Remove sausage from casings and saute sausage in 2 tablespoons olive oil until browned. Drain to remove excess oil. Remove from skillet and set aside. In skillet, heat 3 tablespoons olive oil, add onions, garlic and saute stirring until onions wilt down. Add tomato sauce, salt, pepper and red pepper to taste. Simmer about 5 minutes on low.
- Stir together the sausage and onion and chopped olives. Toast bread lightly under broiler. Top with sausage mix and sprinkle grated mozzarella over all. Broil about 3 minutes under broiler until cheese melts. Watch carefully with oven door open. Remove from broiler, slice and serve.

- Heat oven to 425°F. Lightly spray large cookie sheet with cooking spray.
- In 12-inch skillet, cook sausage over medium-high heat 8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until no longer pink. Push sausage to edges of skillet; add 1 tablespoon of the oil. Add onion and garlic; cook 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until onion is softened. Remove from heat; stir in pizza sauce, oregano, pepper flakes and salt.

FRENCH LOAF PIZZA (WITH ITALIAN SAUSAGE)
A friend made this for us & it was delicious. She shared the recipe with me so I'm passing on to other Zaar members. For variation, you can add mushrooms, peppers, chopped olives or other vegetables, as desired, along with the garlic & onion. Cooking time is based on using a french loaf vs. individual rolls.

- Preheat oven to 300°F
- In skillet, over medium heat, brown sausages. Remove with slotted spoon, set aside & keep warm; drain excess fat.
- Sauté garlic & onion 2 - 3 mins, until soft.
- Add tomatoes, tomato paste, basil, oregano & pepper. Simmer for 15 mins, stirring occasionally.
- Slice off the top of the loaf of bread (or rolls) lengthwise. Scoop out the centre of the loaf leaving a 1" shell.
- Spread ½ of the tomato mixture into the hollowed loaf. Layer the sausage over the tomatoes. Top with remaining tomato mixture. Sprinkle the mozza & cheddar cheese on top & replace the top of the loaf.
- Double wrap loaf in heavy aluminum foil & place on a cookie sheet.
- Bake for 1 ½ hrs (or 1 hr for dinner rolls).
- Remove from oven & let set for 20 minutes.
- To serve, cut loaf into 2" slices.
