This is a simple breakfast dish that kids love. Unless they're allergic to eggs. Then it might be a love/hate relationship. Or just hate.

Steps:

  • Cut a square hole out of the bread.
  • Butter and preheat pan.
  • Place bread in pan and break egg into the hole, taking care not to break the yolk.
  • Fry until egg white is opaque but yolk is still runny.
  • Toast extracted bread center.
