Turkey Chili-A-Roni image

Steps:

  • Heat olive oil.
  • Sauté green bell pepper for while.
  • Add yellow onion and sauté for a while.
  • Add minced garlic and sauté for while.
  • Add Mexican seasoning and onion flakes and stir.
  • Add ground turkey thigh, crumble and brown until cooked.
  • Meanwhile heat salsa with water, chili powder, dried oregano, sugar and pepper over medium heat.
  • Add cooked ground turkey mixture to salsa mixture and stir.
  • Add rotini and bring to a boil.
  • Reduce heat to low, stir, cover and simmer until rotini is cooked stirring periodically.
  • Remove from heat.
  • Stir in cheddar cheese.
  • Enjoy.
