TWO INGREDIENT SOUR CREAM BISCUITS*
I am very very picky about my biscuits, I want them tasty, light, totally done, but not dry. I really hate the half cooked ones or the ones that are so dry and hard, you just about choke to death i.e. the kinds that you get at most restaurants. I came across a recipe for sour cream biscuits that sounded good and after searching, reviewing, and trying a bunch of different ones ( I always read the reviews before I try). I think I have come up with a really easy recipe that tastes super, I can not believe how great these came out. * does not include flour for rolling out or oil for greasing pan

BISCUITS FOR 2
I created this recipe in a larger quantity to enter in the Kentucky State Fair. It won first place! Since biscuits are best fresh out of the oven, I sized my recipe down to yield four-perfect for two. I make them whenever biscuits fit into the menu. -Bessie Hulett, Shively, Kentucky

2 INGREDIENT DOUGH WEIGHT WATCHERS
This has been the talk of our weight watchers meeting and people are using it for everything from pretzel bites, to pizza and even calazones. I've used it for biscuits myself but can't wait to try some of the others. Depending on what you want to make with this dough the serving sizes will be different, but the whole entire dough recipe is 11 smart points. Please use your recipe builder. I divide it into 4 servings and comes out to about 3 points. Fair warning it's a very sticky dough to work with so there's a learning curve getting used to working with it, but just flour the surface you're using and your hands well. As a disclaimer this is NOT up to regular dough standards but a nice alternative when hoping to cut down on calories

From gritsandgouda.com
- Preheat oven to 450° Stir together flour and whipping cream in a medium size bowl just until flour is moistened with whipping cream. Your dough should look "shaggy"-not too dry. Add an additional 1 to 2 tablespoons whipping cream, if needed. Dump it out onto a lightly floured counter.
- Gently press pieces of dough together to form a loose ball. Sprinkle with a tiny bit of flour and using fingertips press dough halfway flat. It will not be a pretty shape at this point. Take one side and bring it up and over to the edge of the other side and gently press halfway down. Turn the dough a quarter of a turn and repeat procedure twice. You are incorporating air into the layers you are pressing down which gives you the flakiness you want.
- Your shape should be a short rectangle at this point. Press the top down until it is 3/4- inch tall. Using a 2 1/2-inch circle cookie cutter, cut out 4 biscuits and place in an 8-inch cake pan or cast iron skillet. Press together and pat down again and cut 2 more; place in the pan. Be sure they are slightly touching each other. They help each other in the oven to rise to their tallest potential if they are touching! For buttery tops, brush 1 to 2 tablespoons melted butter over the tops. This is not necessary, but added yum factor. Bake for 15 minutes or until tops are golden brown.
