My Granny's recipe, this one is guaranteed to go fast. Luckily it's super easy & quick to make! Note: do not use "natural-style" peanut butter. To get the correct consistency, you'll need something thick like Jif.

Steps:

  • Mix sugar & milk, and bring to hard boil in large saucepan.
  • Mix in Peanut Butter and beat until creamy.
  • Pour into buttered dish.
  • Let cool completely then cut into small squares.

Steps:

  • Put peanut butter and honey in bowl and blend well.
  • Add 1 cup powdered milk or wheat germ and blend into a stiff dough, adding more powdered milk or wheat germ as needed.
  • Form mixture into small 1-inch balls or patties.
  • Put coconut in flat pan.
  • Roll balls or patties in coconut to coat.
  • Place side by side on dish covered with wax paper, cover with another wax paper sheet, and refrigerate.
  • Serve as a sweet snack treat.

Steps:

  • Mix all ingredients (except chocolate) in a bowl (with hands like meat loaf).
  • Note: The more you mix it with your hands,the less messy it gets & comes off your hands easier.
  • Dump it in a 13x9-inch pan.
  • Pound it, pat it (spank) firmly in pan.
  • Melt chocolate in a double boiler.
  • Pour melted chocolate over mixture in 13x9-inch pan.
  • Bang pan flat on counter (it'll smooth out the chocolate).
  • Refrigerate approximately 40 minutes or until it starts to harden.
  • Then cut into approximately 8 rows & then across.
  • I cut this into bite size pieces.
  • (I use a pizza cutter. It really works well).
  • Put back in refrigerator for a few hours or overnight.
  • Best if kept refrigerated.

  • Butter an 8x8x2 inch square pan. Set aside.
  • In a 2 quart saucepan with a candy thermometer inserted, cook sugar, light corn syrup, milk, and salt, until thermometer reads 234 degrees F (112 degrees C). Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and peanut butter.
