CLEAN TODDLER COOKIES

These soft, rich cookies have half the sugar that regular chocolate chip cookies have. Although there are some reputable organic brands making goodies for babies and toddlers, nothing beats homemade! Never underestimate yourself in the kitchen; remember, homemade goodies are always going to have less preservatives than even organic things on the store shelves!

WHAT TO FEED THE BABYSITTER: 7 IDEAS - KITCHN

From thekitchn.com
Estimated Reading Time 3 mins
  • How to Make Calzones (and Freeze them for Later!). Or, make your own frozen pizza.
  • Macaroni and Cheese, which is great left over and will feed your family and the sitter for a couple of days.
  • Chicken and Tomato No-Boil Pasta Bake. Simple, comforting, and easy to reheat.
  • Udon Noodle Soup. Cheaper and better than ordering Asian take-out. If you don’t think the sitter wants tofu, try Baked Potato Soup with Bacon, Onion, and Cheddar.
  • Garlic and Herb Roasted Pork Tenderloin. We don’t know many people who won’t eat pork tenderloin. Make it for yourself the night before; serve the leftovers on a bun with a side of potato chips.
  • Snacks. I remember one of the best things about babysitting back in the day was raiding the pantry for chips, crackers, and cookies that I didn’t have at home.
  • Dessert. Offer a nice reward for wrangling your toddler out of the bathtub and into bed. Even if it’s just a pint of ice cream or some Oreos.

DO BABYSITTERS PROVIDE FOOD? (WHAT PARENTS MAY EXPECT FROM YOU)
Most parents don't expect babysitters to provide food, and already have a fully stocked kitchen of their own for you to draw from. The one exception could be if you're babysitting out of your own home instead of at a family's home, more like a daycare. In that case, you may need to provide food for the children you're sitting.
