Bacon Mayonnaise image

Steps:

  • Cook bacon in a large skillet over medium heat, flipping once, until crisp, about 8 minutes. Drain on paper towels, then finely chop (you should have 1/3 cup). Stir together mayonnaise and Dijon. Fold in bacon just before serving.

4 slices bacon (3 1/2 ounces)
2/3 cup mayonnaise
1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

Flavored Mayonnaise 8 Ways image

Steps:

  • Add To make DIJON MAYO: 1 1/2 tbsp Dijon mustard and 2 tbsp chopped fresh dill.
  • Add to make CHIVE MAYO: 1/3 cup fresh snipped chives, 2 small minced garlic cloves and ground black pepper, to taste.
  • Add to make HORSERADISH MAYO: 3 tbsp prepared horseradish,1/2 tsp dried thyme and Salt and pepper, to taste.
  • Add to make HERB MAYO: 2 1/2 tbsp chopped herbs(try parsley, chives, dill, tarragon, oregano, thyme, basil).
  • Add to make DILL MAYO: 1/4 cup fresh chopped dill, 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tsp garlic, minced and Salt and pepper, to taste.
  • Add to make BLACK PEPPER MAYO: 1 tsp freshly ground black pepper and 1 tsp lemon juice.
  • Add to make HONEY MUSTARD MAYO: 1 tbsp lime juice, 1 tbsp honey and 1 tbsp Dijon mustard.
  • Add to make SUN DRIED TOMATO MAYO: 1 small clove garlic, 1/4 cup chopped and well drained sun-dried tomatoes packed in oil. Process ingredients in food processor until smooth before adding to mayo.

Oven Fried Bacon - No Mess, No Cleanup! image

Steps:

  • Use a 4 sided pan like a jelly roll pan.
  • Line pan with tinfoil.
  • Fold parchment paper to fit over tinfoil in pan. Must use parchment paper & line the pan for easy cleanup, important step!
  • Set oven to 400*.
  • After lining pan lay strips of bacon on parchment paper.
  • Put in preheated 400* for 15 minutes, I turn bacon over after 10 minutes.
  • Take out when crispy & lay on paper towels.
  • When pan cools roll up tinfoil & parchment paper & throw away, no pan to wash!

Steps:

  • Heat wok until a thin wisp of white smoke coils up from it. Add oil and heat until it shimmers. When it is ready, add onions and cook and stir until they are just beginning to take on color. Add ginger, garlic, chiles, and mushrooms and stir fry until fragrant-about forty-five seconds or so. Add pressed tofu and continue stir frying another minute.
  • Add pork, soy bean pastes/sauces, Sichuan pepper, pepper and sugar, and stir fry, chopping at the meat to separate it with your wok shovel. Cook until most of the pink is gone from the meat.
  • Add wine, cook off alcohol. Add chicken broth and cornstarch mixture, cook, stirring, until thickened. Add sliced scallion tops and cilantro, stir to combine.
  • Remove from heat, drizzle with sesame oil.
  • Divide noodles into bowls, and top with meat sauce and vegetable shreds.

In this recipe, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, and whole-grain mustard combine for a tangy, slightly smoky sandwich spread. Makes a great topping for roast beef sandwiches or hamburgers.
