BAKED ITALIAN SAUSAGES

A fantastic and easy way to make Italian sausages. Outside the sausage is a nice golden brown and slightly crisp while the inside stays tender and juicy. We sliced the sausage and couldn't stop snacking on them all by themselves. But you can serve on a bun with peppers and onions, too. They'd be a great addition to a red sauce or even top a pizza with the Italian sausage. The possibilities are endless!

  • Bake uncovered for 20 minutes.
  • Turn sausages over and return to the oven for about 40 minutes more.
  • Bake until the sausages are a beautiful color like the ones in my photo.
  • Serve as you desire. I like these with veggies and sauce on Italian or French bread with hot peppers (Chicago Style!). Or, serve with your favorite pasta dish like spaghetti.
