SWISS CHEESE BREAD WITH BEAU MONDE SEASONING

Now that you have made your Beau Monde seasoning here is a great way to use it.

Swiss Cheese Bread with Beau Monde Seasoning image

Steps:

  • 1. Slice french bread on the diagonal, 3/4 of the way through the bread. Make sure that you do not cut all the way through the bottom of the bread.
  • 2. Place one slice of cheese in each slice of bread.
  • 3. Mix remaining ingredients together and spread evenly over top of bread.
  • 4. Wrap loaf in foil and bake at 325-degrees for 25-30 minutes. Serve and Enjoy!

1 loaf french bread
12 slice swiss cheese
1 lb butter (softened) yes! 1 pound
1 Tbsp onion, grated
1 tsp mustard, prepared
2 tsp lemon juice, fresh
1 tsp poppy seeds
1 Tbsp beau monde seasoning

Steps:

  • Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, chipped beef, parsley, onion, seasoned salt, and dill in a bowl until dip is well mixed; chill in refrigerator for 24 hours.
  • Cut the top off the rye bread and scoop out the bread, breaking into bite-size pieces. Fill bread "boat" with dip. Place bread "boat" on a serving tray and arrange the bread pieces around it.

Steps:

  • Cut French Loaf Lengthwise.
  • Butter each side of the bread with the butter.
  • Sprinkle each with Beau Monde Spice and Garlic Powder.
  • Bake for about 7-9 minutes 350 degrees
  • **Please note that I just use Country Crock butter from the tub and sprinle the spices on the bread. The receipe needed measurements so they are approximate.**.

Steps:

  • Cut French Loaf into 1 inch pieces diagonally.
  • Mix all ingredients together.
  • Cut swiss cheese in 1/2 diagonally.
  • On each side of bread, spread mixture and place one 1/2 slice of cheese in between the pieces of bread.
  • Cover Bread with foil and bake for about 45 minutes at 325.

  • Cover and place in fridge overnight.

  • Melt butter and place in a bowl. Add mustard, Beau Monde, lemon juice and poppy seeds. Mix well. Slice bread in one direction without going all the way through. Then slice the bread in the other direction, again without going all the way through. Place the slices of Swiss cheese in the slots of the bread loaf. Pour the melted butter mixture over the top of the bread. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes. Cheese should be melted.   • 1. Pre- Heat oven to 350 - Cut bread across the top Diagonally, But not all the way through, as if you were slicing it to serve. . Poke cheese into each cut slot.
  • 2. into the melted butter add the, Poppy Seeds, Dry Mustard, 1 1/2 tsps. of the Beaumonde seasonings or the ( minced garlic and celery seed mixture ) and the minced green onions.
  • 3. Cover baking sheet with aluminum foil , Lay pieces of Heavy Aluminum foil out Long enough to completely cover the Bread, Place Bread on the foil laid out, pour the seasoned butter over the Bread, and sprinkle the remaining Beaumonde seasoning over the top of loaf and. Wrap the Bread in the foil and place on foil lined Baking Sheet. Bake for 30 Minutes .
