It's closer but still not quite.... :) Use to cement the cake layers together and then to frost. Even MORE diabetic-unfriendly than the cake!

- Soften the cream cheese and butter.
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl.
- You can also any or all of the following: chocolate chips.
- chocolate sprinkles.
- shaved chocolate.
- chunks of chocolate.
- etc.
- The more, the better!

Rich chocolate cake, caramel, toffee, and whipped topping - need I say more?!

Steps:
- Bake cake according to package directions for a 9x13 inch pan; cool on wire rack for 5 minutes. Make slits across the top of the cake, making sure not to go through to the bottom.
- In a saucepan over low heat, combine sweetened condensed milk and caramel topping, stirring until smooth and blended. Slowly pour the warm topping mixture over the top of the warm cake, letting it sink into the slits; then sprinkle the crushed chocolate toffee bars liberally across the entire cake while still warm. (Hint: I crush my candy bars into small chunks as opposed to crumbs - I like to have pieces I can chew on!)
- Let cake cool completely, then top with whipped topping. Decorate the top of the cake with some more chocolate toffee bar chunks and swirls of caramel topping. Refrigerate and serve right from the pan!

- Bake cake according to package directions for a 9x13 inch pan. Cool for about 15 minutes. Using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke holes into the cake.
- In a small bowl, combine sweetened condensed milk and caramel topping. Optional - reserve some caramel topping to drizzle on top of the cake. Slowly pour caramel mixture over the cake, letting it sink into the holes.
- Let cake cool completely (I usually cover it and put it in the fridge until I'm ready to serve it). Top cooled cake with whipped topping.
- Decorate the top of the cake with chopped candy bars. Optional - drizzle caramel topping and chocolate syrup over the cake with the candy bars. Keep refrigerated until ready to serve.

- Bake cake in a 9x13'' according to recipe directions. Allow cake to cool for a few minutes, then poke holes in it with a fork or wooden skewer.
- Pour caramel sauce all over the cake. Then pour the sweetened condensed milk (I only usually use about 1/2 of the can of sweetened condensed milk because I think it's sweet enough with just half, the traditional recipe uses an entire can. It's up to you!) Allow the cake to cool completely.
- While the cake cools, add the whipping cream to a mixing bowl and beat until soft peaks. Add powdered sugar and then beat the mixture until stiff peaks.
- Smooth the fresh whipped cream over the cooled cake. Sprinkle with heath candy pieces. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour, or up to one day, before serving.
