Steps:
- Tip: If you do not have buttermilk, purchase dry buttermilk mix. For one cup of buttermilk: Add 4 tablespoons to one cup of milk and mix well. The buttermilk mix stores in the fridge and you will always have it on hand for recipes calling for buttermilk.
- In a small bowl, stir together the parsley, pepper, seasoned salt, garlic powder, onion powder and thyme. Use as a substitute for Ranch Dressing Mix. To make dressing, mix this recipe with 1 cup mayonnaise and 1 cup buttermilk (fresh or from mix). Use in place of one packet of Ranch dressing mix in recipes.
- For dip, mix this recipe with 1 3/4 cups sour cream and 1/4 cup of buttermilk.

Steps:
- 1. PREPARE THE BREAD: Cut the french bread into small cubes no larger than 1/2 inch square. Place the cubes on the cookie sheet in a 300 degree oven until they are very dry. Meanwhile,
- 2. PREPARE THE SEASONINGS: Mix together the instant onion, garlic powder, parsley flakes, poultry seasoning, and black pepper. Set aside
- 3. PREPARE THE LIQUID: Place one cup of water in a small saucepan, add the butter and the chicken granules. Get it hot, but don't boil it.
- 4. PREPARE ANY OPTIONAL INGREDIENTS: Sometimes, I add sauteed onion and celery to mine. If you make optional ingredients, add them to the liquid mixture now.
- 5. MAKING THE DRESSING: The bread should be dry or close to it. Transfer the bread cubes to a large kettle. Add the seasonings and toss well. Now add the liquid mixture, and mix gently until well combined. Put the lid on and let it sit about five minutes, and mix gently again. Put the lid back on and let sit at least 15 minutes. Enjoy!
- 6. Cook's Tip: This is seasoned to my family's taste. If you prefer a lighter seasoning flavor, just add more bread, and a little water 1/4 cup at a time, until it is just right for you.

Steps:
- 1. Spray a bread pan with kitchen spray and preheat the oven to 375 degrees.
- 2. Butter the tops of all four slices of bread with two slices of bread to a stack. Place bread stacks in the prepared pan, buttered side up.
- 3. Mix the milk, eggs, Mexican vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg, sugar and a dash of salt with a whisk. Then pour over the bread stacks in the pan. There won't be enough liquid to totally submerge the top layer of bread, which is okay. Bake 35 to 40 minutes until nice and brown.
HONEY FRENCH DRESSING
