Steps:

  • In a small bowl, mix flour and salt; cut in butter until crumbly. Gradually add ice water, tossing with a fork until dough holds together when pressed. Shape into a disk; wrap in plastic. Refrigerate 1 hour or overnight., Preheat oven to 350°. On a lightly floured surface, roll dough to fit bottom of a 13x9-in. baking pan; press into pan. Refrigerate while preparing filling., In a large bowl, beat eggs, sugar, and salt on high speed 2 minutes. Stir in flour, melted butter and vanilla. Fold in chocolate chips. Pour over crust; sprinkle with pecans., Cover loosely with foil. Place on a lower oven rack; bake 20 minutes. Bake, uncovered, 30 minutes longer or until top is golden brown and a knife inserted in the center comes out clean., Cool in pan on a wire rack. Cut into 36 bars. Refrigerate leftovers.

Chocolate Pecan Pie Bars image

Steps:

  • Heat oven to 375°F. Spray 13x9-inch pan with baking spray with flour; set aside.
  • In medium bowl, mix flour, sugar and salt. Cut in butter, using pastry blender or fork, until particles are size of small peas. Sprinkle with water, 1 tablespoon at a time, tossing with fork until all flour is moistened and pastry almost leaves side of bowl (1 to 2 teaspoons more water can be added if necessary).
  • Press dough into pan and 1/2-inch up sides. Bake 10 to 12 minutes or until light golden brown.
  • In large bowl, mix eggs, brown sugar, corn syrup, vanilla, 2 tablespoons melted butter, bourbon, and 1/4 teaspoon salt with whisk until well blended. Stir in pecans and chocolate chips. Pour filling into partially baked crust.
  • Bake 20 to 30 minutes or until golden brown and filling is set. During last 10 minutes of baking, cover loosely with foil if necessary to prevent excess browning. Cool 1 hour. For bars, cut into 8 rows by 4 rows. Store covered in refrigerator.

  • Heat oven to 350° (if using dark or nonstick pan, heat oven to 325°). Beat flour, brown sugar and butter in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed, or mix with spoon. Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line the bottom and sides of a 9-by-13-inch baking pan with aluminum foil. In the bowl of an electric mixer, beat 1 stick room-temperature butter, brown sugar, flour, and salt until coarse crumbs form. Pour mixture into prepared pan; press firmly into bottom.
  • Bake until lightly browned, 25 to 30 minutes. Let cool, 10 minutes.
  • Meanwhile, in same large bowl, mix eggs, corn syrup, granulated sugar, and melted butter until well combined. Add chocolate chips and pecans; spread over crust. Bake until set, 25 to 30 minutes. Cool completely in pan before lifting out (using foil to lift). Cut into 32 bars (8 rows by 4 rows).

Steps:

  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Lightly grease a 10x15-inch jelly roll pan.
  • Stir flour, white sugar, and salt together in a large bowl. Cut in 2/3 cup margarine until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Press mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.

  • Heat oven to 350°F. Spray 13x9-inch pan with cooking spray. In large bowl, mix granulated sugar, butter, 1 teaspoon vanilla and 1 egg. Stir in flour. Press dough in bottom and 1/2 inch up sides of pan (if necessary, use floured fingers).
