Steps:
- Prepare brownie mix according to package directions and cool completely. Cut into 1 inch squares.
- In a large bowl, combine pudding mix, water and sweetened condensed milk. Mix until smooth, then fold in 8 ounces whipped topping until no streaks remain.
- In a trifle bowl or glass serving dish, place half of the brownies, half of the pudding mixture and half of the 12 ounce container of whipped topping. Repeat layers. Shave chocolate onto top layer for garnish. Refrigerate 8 hours before serving.

- Bake cake according to package directions. Cool. Prepare pudding according to package directions; set aside. , Crumble cake; reserve 1/2 cup. Place half of the remaining cake crumbs in the bottom of a 4-1/2- or 5-qt. trifle dish or decorative glass bowl. , Layer with half of the coffee, half of the pudding, half of the whipped topping and half of the crushed candy bars. Repeat the layers of cake, coffee, pudding and whipped topping. , Combine remaining crushed candy bars with reserved cake crumbs; sprinkle over top. Refrigerate 4-5 hours before serving.

HOT FUDGE SUNDAE TRIFLE
Try this layered ice cream trifle for an indulgent treat.

- In a small bowl, stir together espresso, hot water, and sugar. Stir to combine; set aside.
- In the bottom of a 3 1/2-quart trifle dish, place an even layer of cake cubes, cutting pieces to fit as necessary. Using a pastry brush, brush the cake cubes with 1/3 of the reserved espresso mixture to moisten. Using an offset spatula, spread 3 cups of vanilla ice cream on top of the cake layer. Repeat process and top with a layer of cake cubes brushed with remaining espresso mixture.
- Cover trifle with plastic wrap and transfer to freezer; freeze until ice cream is set, about 1 hour and up to 1 week.
- When ready to serve, remove trifle from the freezer 10 minutes before serving. Beat heavy cream to soft peaks in the bowl of an electric mixer fitted with the whisk attachment. Add confectioner's sugar and vanilla, beat until well combined. Top trifle with whipped cream and garnish with chocolate shavings; serve immediately with hot fudge sauce.
CHOCOLATE SUNDAE COOKIES

- Preheat oven to 350.
- Cookies:.
- Mix together flour, baking soda, and salt, set aside.
- With your mixer, mix brown sugar and shortening.
- Blend in egg. Beat well, then stir in 1/2 of the dry ingredients.
- Add Marachino juice and milk.
- Stir in the rest of dry ingredients, and mix well.
- Blend in melted unsweetened chocolate (you can use the kind that are already melted, or substitute 6 T. of cocoa and 2 T. oil), chopped cherries, and chopped walnuts.
- Drop by spoonfuls on an ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes.
- While cookies are baking cut large marshmallows in half.
- Place the cut side of the marshmallow down on hot cookies when they come out of the oven, so they will stick.
- Let cool.
- Frost cookies, then and put a nut on top.
- Buttercream Chocolate Frosting:
- Beat cocoa, margarine, milk and vanilla well. Add in confectionary sugar to desired consistency.

CHOCOLATE BROWNIE TRIFLE
A naughty chocolate version of a traditional trifle, and so easy to make. Layer chocolate brownies, custard, Irish cream liqueur and whipped cream for an indulgent treat

- Put the custard and chocolate in a saucepan. Gently heat, stirring, until the chocolate has completely melted into the custard. Cover the surface with cling film to stop the custard forming a skin, then cool.
- Sit the brownies in a trifle bowl and mix together the coffee with the 1 tbsp Irish cream liqueur. Drizzle all over the brownies. Use a rolling pin or saucepan to gently bash the bag of Maltesers a few times to crush a little, then sprinkle about three-quarters over the brownies. Spoon the cooled chocolate custard all over the top, then cover and chill.
- Make the final layer by combining the cream and 100ml Irish cream liqueur in a bowl. Sift over the icing sugar, then whip until soft peaks form. Cover and chill until you're ready to serve.
- To serve, give the cream a quick mix, then spoon on top of the chocolate custard. Scatter over the last few crushed Maltesers to decorate.
