Steps:

  • Lay a pint of strawberry ice cream on its side and cut into 1-inch-thick rounds with a large serrated knife; peel off the carton. Cut out hearts with a 2-inch cookie cutter, place on a rack set on a baking sheet and freeze 30 minutes. For the coating, combine 3 ounces chopped chocolate with 3 tablespoons coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl; microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring, until smooth. Pour over the ice cream hearts. Freeze until set, then drizzle with melted candy melts.

Steps:

  • Combine whipping cream, chocolate milk, syrup, evaporated and sweetened condensed milk in a large bowl. Mix well. Chill for 4 to 6 hours. Pour into ice cream freezer. Follow your freezer directions. When ice cream begins to set, add shavings if desired. Serve immediately.

1 1/2 cups chocolate syrup
2 cans evaporated milk
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 cup bittersweet chocolate shavings, chopped fine (optional)

Steps:

  • Combine sugar, milk, salt, and cocoa powder in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Bring to a simmer. Place the egg yolks into a small bowl. Gradually stir in about 1/2 cup of the hot liquid. and return to the saucepan. Heat until thickened, but do not boil. Remove from the heat, and stir in the chopped chocolate until chocolate is melted. Pour into a chilled bowl, and refrigerate for about two hours until cold, stirring occasionally.
  • When chocolate mixture has completely cooled, stir in the cream, and vanilla. Pour into an ice cream maker, and freeze according to manufacturer's directions.

  • In microwave-safe bowl, melt butter and brown sugar in a microwave on high for 1-1 1/2 minutes, stirring every 30 seconds, or until brown sugar is melted.
  • Add confectioners' sugar and peanut butter, stirring to combine.
  • Cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate for 1 hour.
  • Shape by teaspoonfuls into egg shapes.
  • Place on a wire rack over parchment paper.
  • Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  • In small saucepan, melt bittersweet chocolate and shortening over low heat, whisking until smooth.
  • Spoon an even layer of chocolate over each peanut butter egg.
  • Refrigerate for 5 minutes.
  • Remove from refrigerator.
  • Spoon another layer of chocolate over peanut butter eggs.
  • Let sit at room temperature until chocolate is set.
  • Drizzle with melted white chocolate, if desired.
