- In a blender, combine the milk, pudding mix and vanilla; cover and process until blended. Add the bananas and ice; cover and process until smooth. Pour into chilled glasses; serve immediately.

- In a blender, add about half the soy milk and the spinach. Puree until the spinach dissolves, about 30 seconds. Add the remaining soy milk, banana chunks, vanilla extract, flax seed, and chocolate syrup, if using, and blend until the mixture reaches a smooth consistency, another 30 seconds. Divide mixture between two chilled glasses with straws.
- Cook's Note: If the smoothie is looking a little too green from the spinach, add a squeeze of chocolate syrup to enhance the smoothie's brown color.
CHOCOLATE SOY BANANA SMOOTHIE
Chocolate soy milk and frozen bananas whipped up together in a blender make a quick, tasty smoothie that my family loves. It is healthy and easy...two great "ingredients" for a great recipie. If you are not a soy fan, don't worry. It doesn't taste anything like soy according to my husband (who does NOT eat soy). The amount is for one, but we usually triple it since there are three of us. If you need more servings, you should do it in two batches if you have an average sized blender.
