- In a large bowl, mix first 6 ingredients. Refrigerate, covered, overnight., To serve, beat cream until stiff peaks form. Fold whipped cream and walnuts into cranberry mixture.

My mother found this recipe years and years ago and made it every year at the holidays. I have continued the tradition for many years myself. It's very delicious. Takes a bit of time to make it ... but OH so worth it.

Steps:
- 1. Mix these 3 items and let stand: 1 package Cranberries - chopped * ½ cup apples - chopped 2 cups sugar (stir occasionally while fixing other parts of salad)
- 2. Mix and let cool down: 2 small pkg. Lemon Jell-O 1 small pkg. Cherry Jell-O 3 cups hot water - boiling ½ cup pineapple juice
- 3. Mix cranberry mixture and Jell-O mixture together
- 4. Add: 1 cup nuts, chopped 1 cup crushed pineapple (8 oz.) 1 lb seedless grapes - cut up
- 5. Pour in 9x13 GLASS pan and place in refrigerator to chill.
- 6. * Easiest way to chop cranberries is to freeze and then put frozen cranberries in food processor with chopping blade in bottom and chop very fine. (pulverize) Do a small amount at a time.

- In a small bowl, dissolve gelatin in 1 cup boiling water. In another bowl, combine cranberry sauce and remaining water; add gelatin mixture and lemon juice. Pour into a 13x9-in. dish coated with cooking spray; refrigerate until firm, about 1 hour., In a large bowl, beat cream until stiff peaks form. In another bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth.
