SPICY MANGO CHICKEN WINGS RECIPE BY TASTY
Upgrade your next game day with this tangy, spicy chicken wings recipe. After coating the wings with flour and roasting them, cover them with a beautiful, bright orange blend of mango (or pineapple), habanero peppers, spices, lime juice, and honey before throwing them into the oven one more time to get them crispy and caramelized. The result is a hot, sweet flavor that'll make your wings stand out from the rest.

SWEET AND SPICY MANGO CHICKEN
A quick and easy meal to throw together. For the sweet chilli sauce I use a brand that is quite spicy so it gives it a nice kick. You may want to adjust the amount listed if your brand is more on the sweet side.

I threw this together with random ingredients I had on hand and it was delicious! This recipe marinates, tenderizes, sauces, and cooks the chicken in minutes. This can be served alone or with a side like rice or maybe even plantains. Beware this has a kick.

SPICY CUBAN CHICKEN
I got this from a friend at church; I haven't made it yet, but she brought it to a potluck and it was so yummy I had to ask for the recipe. It is credited to The Bean Education & Awareness Network. Prep time includes marinating time. ****update**** I messed up the marinating once I finally made this and left out the garlic and red pepper in the marinade. Instead I put the garlic in while sauteing the chicken and put in the red pepper with all the other spices. This made it pretty spicy, but good!

Steps:
- Trim and butterfly chicken breasts. Salt and pepper to taste.
- At this point you can either grill the chicken breasts or cook in a medium skillet over medium-high with a small amount of olive oil. The chicken will need to cooked long enough that juices run clear. You'll prepare the mango mixture while the chicken cooks.
- Squeeze juice from lime into small dish and combine with vinegars.
- Finely chop cilantro and add to lime juice/vinegar mixture. Add the crystallized ginger and salt and set aside.
- Peel and dice mango into a bowl. Set aside.
- Remove the seeds from the jalapeno, and finally chop 1/2. Add to the mango. You can chop and use the remainder for a spicier dish.
- In a small skillet, heat a small amount of olive oil over medium heat.
- While the oil heats, mince garlic and then saute in oil for 1-2 minutes.
- Add the mango/jalapeno mixture to the garlic/oil and heat for 3 minutes over medium.
- Add the lime/vinegar/ginger to the skillet. Reduce heat to medium-low and continue to cook for 3 more minutes, stirring constantly. The mixture should thicken from the sugar in the mango. If the chicken is still not ready, keep the mixture warm over low heat.
- Spoon the mango mixture over the cooked chicken breast and serve.
SPICY MANGO SWEET POTATO CHICKEN
This is a tropical tasting dish that is just as good vegetarian as it is with chicken! Honey and mango lend the sauce it's sweetness, but it's nicely countered with salty tamari and spicy hot sauce. Serve over rice or noodles.

SWEET AND SOUR MANGO CHICKEN S-C-J
This was originally for shrimp, but I don't like seafood so I changed it. Site quote: "I stopped ordering sweet and sour dishes at my favorite Chinese restaurant when I discovered the calorie count was over the top. So I was delighted when Chef James Brockman helped me whip up this lighter version using mangoes-a delicious, low-cal fruit that is rich in nutrition, packed with beta-carotene and excellent in aiding digestion. Pair it with our Sesame Garlic Broccoli and serve over your favorite rice. Jasmine rice, found in most grocery stores, is very aromatic and goes perfectly with this dish."
