Easy Caramel Ish Dip For Apples Recipes
EASY CARAMEL APPLES
Steps:
- Remove stems and thoroughly wash and dry apples; insert pop sticks into tops. Line a baking sheet with parchment and grease the parchment; set aside., Place caramels and water in a small saucepan; cook and stir over medium-low heat 3-5 minutes or until smooth, stirring frequently. Remove from heat; cool slightly. Dip each apple in caramel mixture, allowing excess to drip off. Place on prepared pan. Refrigerate until set.

You can put it together at practically the last minute, although you might want to cut the apples into slices and dip them in a baggie of lemon water (1 Tablespoon of lemon juice in 1 cup of water) ahead of time, if you aren't able to cut the apples just as you need them....

- 2. Pour SOME of the caramel sauce over the cream cheese. Sprinkle nuts over all.
- 3. Serve with fresh apple slices. This dip is also great with nut-based crackers.
- 4. NOTE: Do NOT refrigerate dip after preparing because it will be too solid to scoop! But refrigerate any leftover dip, then let it soften before serving again.
