Flancocho de limón image

Steps:

  • Forra con papel de aluminio un molde para pastel, redondo y de 9 pulgadas, dejando un excedente de papel por los lados del molde. Rocíalo con aceite en aerosol. Corta el bizcocho en rebanadas de 1/2 pulgada. Colócalas en la base y los lados del molde para formar una capa pareja, cortando las rebanadas cuando necesites rellenar espacios.
  • Mezcla el agua hirviendo con la gelatina en polvo por 2 min. o hasta que esté completamente disuelta; viértela con cuidado en la licuadora. Agrega el queso crema, la leche y el azúcar. Licúa hasta que quede una mezcla homogénea. Incorpora la ralladura de limón. Vierte esta mezcla sobre el bizcocho en el molde.
  • Refrigera el postre durante 3 horas o hasta que la gelatina esté firme. Levántalo del molde, utilizando los extremos del papel aluminio como asas. Completa con la cobertura.

1/2 taza de leche
1/4 taza de azúcar
1 cucharada de cáscara rallada de limón amarillo (lemon)

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, add ¼ cup of water and ½ cup of sugar for the caramel. Let it caramelize without stirring. Cook until the caramel is brown and remove it from the stove. Immediately, pour the caramel into the bundt mold and move it to distribute the caramel evenly.
  • In a blender, add all the ingredients for the flan and blend until you get a homogeneous batter. Pour the batter into the bundt mold and take it to the oven for 20 minutes in a bain-marie.
  • In a big bowl, mix all the ingredients for the chocolate cake with exception of the flour and the baking powder. When the batter is homogeneous, add the flour and the baking powder slowly into the mix to avoid clumps.
