Frozen Banana Cream Pie Recipes

Steps:

• Slice 2 of the bananas; arrange evenly on bottom of crust.
• Pour milk into large bowl. Add dry pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk 2 min. or until well blended. Let stand 5 min. or until thickened. Gently stir in whipped topping. Spread over banana slices in crust.
• Freeze 6 hours or until firm. When ready to serve, remove pie from freezer. Let stand at room temperature 15 min. or until pie can be cut easily. Slice remaining banana. Arrange on top of pie. Drizzle with chocolate syrup; sprinkle with almonds. Store leftovers in freezer.

Steps:

• Mix cornstarch, sugar, salt with the cold milk in a large saucepan.
• Cook mixture over medium heat to dissolve. (Stir constantly) until boiling.
• Pour 1/4 of the mixture into the beaten eggs and blend thoroughly.
• Return mixture back to saucepan.
• Add 1 smashed banana to mixture and stir until blended .
• Cook until thick and creamy.
• Add margarine/butter and vanilla.
• Add dash of salt.
• Add 1/2 of the mixture to 2x10" pie shells (1/4 of mixture to each shell).
• Slice the remaining bananas on top of the 2 pies.
• Cover the bananas with the rest of the mixture.
• Put in refrigerator to set.
• When ready top the pies with whipped cream or Cool Whip.

Steps:

• Have baked 9-inch pie shell ready.
• In a large saucepan, scald the milk.
• In another saucepan, combine the sugar, flour and salt; gradually stir in the scalded milk.
• Over medium heat, stirring constantly, cook until thickened.
• Cover and, stirring occasionally, cook for two minutes longer.
• In a small bowl, have the 3 egg yolks, slightly beaten, ready; stir a small amount of the hot mixture into beaten yolks; when thoroughly combined, stir yolks into hot mixture.
• Cook for one minute longer, stirring constantly.
• Remove from heat and blend in the butter and vanilla.
• Let sit until lukewarm.
• When ready to pour, slice bananas and scatter in pie shell; pour warm mixture over bananas.
• If desired, make a meringue (you'll have 3 leftover egg whites) to top the pie, or just let the pie cool until serving.

Steps:

• Insert 1 ice pop stick into the cut end of each banana half. Place the bananas on a wax paper-covered baking sheet, and freeze until the bananas are frozen through, about 2 hours.
• Remove the frozen bananas from the freezer and spread a layer of peanut butter on each banana. Place the peanut butter-covered bananas back in the freezer for 30 to 45 minutes.
• Melt the chocolate in the top of a double boiler over just-barely simmering water, stirring frequently and scraping down the sides with a rubber spatula to avoid scorching.
• Dip each frozen banana in the melted chocolate, spooning the chocolate over the banana to cover it completely. Roll the dipped bananas in the chopped peanuts and place on the wax paper covered baking sheet; freeze until the chocolate is firm, about 1 to 2 hours.

Steps:

• In a saucepan, combine the sugar, flour, and salt. Add milk in gradually while stirring gently. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture is bubbly. Keep stirring and cook for about 2 more minutes, and then remove from the burner.
• Stir a small quantity of the hot mixture into the beaten egg yolks, and immediately add egg yolk mixture to the rest of the hot mixture. Cook for 2 more minutes; remember to keep stirring. Remove the mixture from the stove, and add butter and vanilla. Stir until the whole thing has a smooth consistency.
• Slice bananas into the cooled baked pastry shell. Top with pudding mixture.
• Bake at 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for 12 to 15 minutes. Chill for an hour.

Steps:

• Pour chocolate topping into crust; freeze for 5 minutes or until chocolate is firm. , Meanwhile, place bananas in a small bowl; toss with lemon juice. Arrange bananas over chocolate topping. Layer with pineapple topping, ice cream, whipped topping and walnuts. , Cover and freeze until firm. Remove from the freezer 15 minutes before cutting. Garnish with chocolate syrup and cherries.
