ONE-INGREDIENT GRAPE ICE POPS

One-Ingredient Grape Ice Pops image

Steps:

  • Put the grapes in a high-power blender and pulse until smooth, about 30 seconds. Pour the grape puree into ice-pop molds and freeze until solid, 4 to 6 hours.

Grape Slushie Floats image

Steps:

  • Combine the frozen grapes, juice and 1/4 cup Simple Syrup in a high-powered blender and puree until smooth and slushy-like, adding additional grape juice if needed.
  • Dip a small pastry brush (or your finger) into some honey and brush the rims of the serving glasses. Dip the honey-rimmed glasses into the rainbow sanding sugar, rolling gently to coat. Put 2 to 3 scoops of ice cream in each glass. Pour in the slushies and serve immediately.
  • Combine the granulated sugar and 1 cup water in a saucepan and heat gently until the sugar dissolves. Remove from the heat, then add the mint and cover. Steep for 20 to 30 minutes. Remove and discard the mint.

2 pounds seedless green grapes, frozen
3/4 cup (180 grams) Concord grape juice, or more as needed
Mint Simple Syrup, recipe follows
Honey, for glass rims
1/3 cup rainbow sanding sugar, in a small plate
Vanilla ice cream, for serving
1 cup (200 grams) granulated sugar
Handful fresh mint leaves

What a treat for children and adults! Start off drinking a grape slush then as frozen ice cream melts You have a very tasty filling float! Use real grape juice and frozen yogurt for a healthy snack.

Steps:

  • You can use regular grape popsicles or make Your own. I made with welches grape juice. Just fill Your molds with grape juice and freeze. You can even add fruit if You like.
  • Remove popsicles from molds and use three popsicles (minus sticks) add to blender with 1/4 cup grape juice, Blend till smooth. Pour into glasses and top with a scoop of frozen vanilla yogurt or icecream, and a splash of 7up. Serve with straw and spoon.
