Steps:

  • In a Dutch oven, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add the vegetables and ham; cook and stir until vegetables are tender. Add garlic; cook 1 minute longer. Drain and pat dry. , In a large bowl, beat cream cheese and cream until smooth. Gradually beat in eggs. Stir in the remaining ingredients and vegetable mixture., Transfer to two greased 11x7-in. baking dishes. Bake, uncovered, at 350° for 35-40 minutes or until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.

Steps:

  • Preheat oven to 325º F.
  • Slice crusts from bread, cut bread into cubes and place in a 13x9x2- inch baking pan.
  • On top of bread, layer half of the ham and half of the cheese.
  • In a large bowl, combine apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon and nutmeg; spread on top of ham and cheese.
  • In a medium bowl, combine eggs, milk and brown sugar; pour over apples.
  • Layer remaining ham and cheese on top.
  • Bake, uncovered for about 60 minutes or until eggs are cooked and strata is puffy in center.
  • Let stand 10 minutes before serving.
  • Note: This recipe can be assembled in advance.

Steps:

  • Spray a 13x9-inch (3-quart) glass baking dish with the cooking spray. Peel and thinly slice the green onions; you will need about 1/2 cup. Trim crusts from the bread.
  • Arrange 6 bread slices in baking dish. Layer the ham, cheese and onions on bread in dish. Cut remaining bread slices diagonally in half; arrange on onions.
