HAYSTACKS
I have made these cookies for my family for about 30 years now. My son (who is now 36 years old) gets so excited when I make these; he always enjoys them with a tall glass of milk. I find that I have to be careful when melting the butterscotch because it seems to scorch easily, so take care - this is an essential ingredient! Also, these are best enjoyed in the winter because they seem to melt and not taste as great in the warmer weather.

These look like mini haystacks thus the name. Kids and adults love them. Very "Harvesty" when served on dish with the mini pumpkins or candy corn, etc.

When I was in high school the cafeteria employees would make these and I would buy them all the time. One day I asked one of the employees if they would mind giving me the recipe since I ate them so much and would love to save my money. :) She was kind enough to give me the recipe, and to this day my family and friends cannot get enough of them. It is requried of me to make them anytime they come over. I hope you enjoy these as much as my family and friends have.

DELICIOUS! I get requests for the recipe all the time. Good all year. This recipe is different from others because two bags of butterscotch chips are used to give more flavor. My family also enjoys them at Christmas. So, so EASY and QUICK!
