HOLIDAY SANDWICH WREATH
This jolly sandwich wreath always disappears in a twinkling at parties! Best of all, I can put it together in no time using deli ham and chicken salads-or sometimes I make my own. Try decking it with "holly" fashioned from parsley and grape tomatoes.

- Spread butter over one side of each slice of bread. In a bowl, combine the ham salad ingredients. In another bowl, combine the chicken salad, apple and sour cream. , Spread ham salad on half of the rye bread slices; top with remaining rye. Spread chicken salad on half of the pumpernickel bread slices; top with remaining pumpernickel. Arrange sandwiches in a circle on a serving plate. Decorate with a bow if desired.

Guests who have sweet expectations are in for a savory surprise when they sample warm slices of this golden wreath. Made with no-fuss pizza crust, the sandwich ring is packed with turkey, cheese, red pepper and green onions.

- Unroll pizza dough. Place dough side by side on a baking sheet with two short sides touching; pinch to seal. Cut a 2-in. strip from one short side; set aside. Brush the remaining dough with salad dressing within 1/2 in. of edge. Top with turkey, cheese, red pepper and onions. , Roll up, jelly-roll style, starting with a long side; pinch seam to seal. Place seam side down on an ungreased baking sheet; form a ring and pinch ends together. Beat one egg yolk; brush over dough. Bake at 350° for 30 minutes. , Meanwhile, for glaze, beat remaining egg yolk; divide between two custard cups. Tint one green and one red. On a floured surface, roll out reserved dough to 1/8-in. thickness. Use a small cookie cutter to cut out nine holly leaves, about 2 in. long. Or outline leaf shapes on the dough with a small new paintbrush dipped in green glaze; cut out leaves with a paring knife. , Apply green glaze to holly leaves. These Christmas wreaths are made using corn flakes and cinnamon candies. They're fun to make and eat. If the mixture is cooling too quickly, set the pan in a skillet with one inch of very hot water to keep the dough manageable.

CHRISTMAS HOLLY TREATS
Someone brought this in to work and I thought I could copy it without a recipe, and did! Have never worked with marshmallows before, WOW (suggestions appreciated)!! Work fast, it's hot! Hint 1: Buy generic corn flakes at the $1 store! Hint 2: If the "berries" don't stick on the "holly", put the cold holly in the microwave for 20 sec. (on waxed paper) and then add the berries.

Steps:
- Melt butter in a 3 quart saucepan on Low.
- Add the marshmallows and melt completely - keep stirring.
- Add the green food coloring - keep stirring.
- Lower heat to Warm.
- Add corn flakes and mix until they are all green.
- Drop by teaspoons onto waxed paper to create the "holly".
- While each holly is still warm, add 3 Red-Hots as the berries (see Hint 1 at top if berries don't stick).
- Repeat until all the holly is on the waxed paper.
- Let cool and remove from waxed paper. Put on a party plate and enjoy!
