Steps:
- In the insert of the Instant Pot, add all of the ingredients. Stir to mix them together and to roughly coat the apples in the cinnamon and brown sugar.
- Place the lid on the Instant Pot and turn the valve to SEALING. Press MANUAL or PRESSURE COOK on HIGH PRESSURE and set timer for 5 minutes.
- When the timer is finished, let the Instant Pot sit for 10 minutes and do a NATURAL RELEASE, then move the valve to VENTING to quick release any of the remaining pressure.
- Remove the lid and stir, then serve warm.
- Store leftovers in the fridge in an air-tight container for 5-7 days.

- Peel them if you want, and core and chop into large chunks.
- Add to Instant Pot, along with at least 1/2 cup water.
- Set to pressure cook for 5 minutes, high pressure.
- Let the apples do a natural release for 10 minutes, then finish releasing the pressure.
- Mash the apples with a potato peeler, or use an immersion blender.
- Be careful not to splash the applesauce, as it's very hot! A
- Add any sugar, lemon, or spices, and it's done!
- This recipe makes about 4 1/2 to 5 cups of applesauce.

- Peel, core, and slice your apples and toss with lemon juice. (I quartered each apple, then removed the core for each piece, then sliced each quarter into 3 slices.)
- Mix together the maple syrup, melted butter, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla and salt and pour over the apples and toss until the apples are evenly coated.
