Steps:
- Rinse grapes; shake gently to remove excess water. Remove and discard stems from grapes.
- Place grapes in large resealable plastic bag. Add drink mix; seal bag. Shake bag gently to evenly coat grapes with drink mix.
- Spread grapes onto rimmed baking sheet. Freeze 1 hour or until frozen.

ABSOLUTELY PERFECT KOOL-AID
Who would have thought you could improve on the package directions of Kool-Aid? Well, you can! This is now my family's favourite way to prepare Kool-Aid, at one-and-a-half strength. We tried it at double-strength, but preferred this method, with this amount of sweetness. The extra flavour burst is particularly noticeable, we have found, with cherry, orange, and grape.

- In a LARGE juice pitcher (1 gallon/4 litres), stir together the 3 packages of koolaid and the sugar.
- Add about 1/3 of the water and stir well, making sure Kool-Aid and sugar dissolves.
- Slowly stir in remaining water; chill.

This was MY favorite Kool-aid when my kids were young. I was heartbroken when the flavor was discontinued but got the recipe from the Kool-aid (Kraft) people. My grown-up friends are always surprised that they like this!

- Wash grapes and set up a working area either some free counter space, a large baking sheet or cooling rack that is lined with parchment paper (or aluminum foil or wax paper). Set up several small bowls (4-6 depending on how many flavors you have picked out) with 1/3 of each of the Jello flavors and another small bowl with the water.
- Insert toothpicks into the stem hole at the end of each grape, dip them into the water and then alternate which Jello flavor you dip each grape in. Place coated grapes on the parchment paper to dry, leaving the toothpicks in place.
- Once chilled and the gelatin is set, the toothpicks are easily removed. Place in a bowl and serve.
